I have literally had about 20 of the f-body cars (firebirds and camaros) and some of the newer ones also.
they can be fun cars, they handle nice,the 305's are not that quick in stock form. one of the first things i always did was put a "shift kit" in the trannys.....drop the pan and use 3/8s nuts to block the accumulator valve and boost line pressure.
watch for leaky t-tops
the electric motor hatchs ,rear defrosters and rear wipers when equipped were troublesome.
LOW riding cars so go slow over speed bumps and what not.
they arent bad cars though.....sure don't got nothing on a mopar though lol
