This came in my youtube feed and thought it be interesting for people looking to build so called streetable power. The test is basically what power you can make with what many would consider a streetable duration 224 @ 0.050" basically to me the mid point between RV and Street & Strip and around when torque peak starts moving up in rpm enough the 1st level of higher Stall and deeper gears may start to become necessary.
Would make an all around decent package for most and with these examples 5.0l, 5.3l & 5.7l nothing crazily big and none have to turn too crazy of an rpm to make 312-440 hp just the right top end to go with it. No reason couldn't go a step down if you wanted eg.. 218 and give up a few ponies. With the right top end and a reasonable cam should be able to squeeze decent power even out of a 302, never mind 318 or 360 etc..
I dug this one up to show what a 5.0l in our case a 318 should be able to do with better heads/top end, 418 hp with a 224 & 0.050"
