got me a 67 notch

-
gonna wait till I get it all trimmed out and see how much the stainless and chrome breaks it up. I have been looking at white barracuda's and the color is growing on me.

Just keep the pictures coming. I hear ya about the color. I have had two dusters and both colors had to grow on me. One became my favorite (lemon-twist) and the other became the other I came to like quite well. Yours is going to be sweet.

not sure what stripes to put on it? I did come up with the full vinyl trim so I might go with the factory black vinyl, still undecided though. I'm curious how much all the trim will break up the white.... ugh white...
The next step is getting the headliner in as I can not install the front and rear glass until that is done. I did get window reveal moldings so that will be a nice touch.

Hell paint the top black and use the vynle trim. Thats the way my sassy grass green duster came from the factory and really set it off nice. Cheaper and faster too. Be ashame to hide that awsome straight roof.:D

The factory vinyl trim holes were welded up. I do have all the moldings to install it again like it came from the factory. It would probably cost just a bit more to put the black vinyl back on vs painting the roof a different color.

I got the cell mounted today and some of the trunk trim installed a little this and that. I wasn't feeling very amphibious. Waiting on parts....

parts are rolling in now, got the carpet kit, headliner, insulation, package tray w/ cutouts for speakers, door weather strips, window gaskets, reveal molding clips. time to start busting out the interior! still waiting on sail panels and arm rest pads.

I found a guy to do the headliner but he wants 250 to install..? not sure is that reasonable as I am not accustomed to having someone do the work for me. the interior and glass is all out so it will be easy as far as having clear access. I may want to tackle this myself anyone done one and have any pointers?

Ya, Know I just got looking at the engine compartment and with the upper cowl and the fender lips painted body color, the black on the rest of the compartment doesn't look bad at all.

I sprayed it with the fenders off and also sprayed the front of the core support white. So if it was to get the engine compartment painted it wouldn't be hard.

Looks like momma cant see straight the front bumper needs a realignment lol. The rear stainless window trim goes on tomorrow after I reset the glass. Still a few things left then mostly cleaning.
I don't think I am going to recover the front buckets the rear is new. It also needs exhaust put on. It has pipes that kick in front of rear tires, but no mufflers and it is pretty loud.

What would be a good price for this beast? I was thinking around $10,500?

lol good point on the sly grin... maybe she intended that (i wouldn't put it past her) bless her lil blood pumper. I'm just glad she is into it as much as I am. It makes life that much easier and needed parts don't require an explanation.
