I may have screwed up....Need help

Ok, I was digging thru my emblems n stuff the other day trying to help another member out and discovered that I cant find my 2 "fender fish" and my front "plymouth" emblems for my 69 cuda project. I had all my emblems(so I thought) all gathered up n tucked away in the same spot, but obviously not. Maybe I misplaced/hid/lost them..who knows, but it sure is a kick in the nutz not knowing where they are:banghead: Im wondering if they got packaged up and thrown/tossed in with other parts I have sold. ops:Can anyone I have dealt with take a look and lemme know?? I am now off to the garage to rip it frickin apart!! Im adding "smilies" to this thread but i aint smiling!! LOL

nothin here ......just one person to rule out......i hope you find them ...i can relate bcoz i am tearing my place apart looking for a 68 lower dash pad i thought i had........maybe its the hot chocolate or maybe i am going senial already:laughing: .........but i know how frustrating it is so i hope you find your emblems SOON

Oh,Don't you love, this is safe place to put this !!!
I usually blame someone else and then I find it where I put it !!!
Quit looking for it and just tide up and it will re-appear...or at least when you are looking for something else...

Steve...bud. Relax. They are there somewhere. Its happened to me a few times. Unfortunately the stuff turns up in wierd spots. I know from experience. As soon as my back is better that is the first thing im doing............ORGANIZING all the dam stuff i have. Youve seen my garage.........Holey ****. Im suprised i find the Dart in there..LOL. Yup hiding stuff from yourself sux. I bought some of the wire looms like you have for sale from another member. They are still right here beside me a week now because I cant decide where is a good place to poke them.

Your fish are probably with my K-member bolts, don't really need the right now but have looked for them a few times and can't find them.

sound like me put some thing away for good keeping and then never find it again. or to the point that you have to replace them buy new used put them on and a day later you will find them, sorry thats me good luck finding them

I'm no help, but can relate

Had the hood chrome redone for the dart. The top finned pieces looked bad so sent them back, just had the lower pieces at the house. When I got the others back NEVER COULD FIND THE BOTTOMS.

bought another set, $150 they were in better shape than the rechromed ones but wasn't about to spend the money to rechromed another set. To this day still do not know where the 1st set of bottoms are.

Man I can't find any of my ****, but that's cause I'm super disorganized ( I am 20 though) lol If you just take the time to look through everything you will find them if you had them, just put some nice music on, that's what I do. Oh and a few bruskies don't hurt either. :drinkers:

Not here Steve , if I did received them, I would of let you know.
I have stuff all over, but it starts to show up for some reason.
The one thing I lost was the hood to rad seal, so I had to buy a
new one. The old one will show up this summer LOL!

Morning Jim, funny cuz I called Dad yesterday to see if I left them there...dunno why 67 and 69 fish are different...Im hoping they turn up, cuz now its an ego thing...I WILL WIN THIS GAME OF HIDE N SEEK!!!

Im gonna go thru the garage and do some tidying...its weird cuz I had a few emblems..some duplicates, so when I setup my "mopar display" in the shop I put them on it, or so I thought. But I remember that I had also set them aside and wrapped in bubble wrap with all my other emblems designated for my cuda...spares were kept seperately for that reason....:banghead:

I had the same problem loosing parts as you are. I finally bought plastic totes for all my smaller parts. In the top of each tote I have a list of what is in it and the outside has a general description of what type of parts are in the tote. I am still finding parts hidden away and now they go to a tote immediately. It is amazing how many of the same parts I have bought because I forgot I had them.
