I seldom pass on this kind of info, but when I was poking around YouTube and this guy Japhand “make it custom.” Not only did he show me something new but how to do it with and without expensive equipment. Also, he is a really good teacher. First 2-3 minutes don’t count. I hope you enjoy. Syleng1

When I stretched my rear wheel openings I hammered and dollied them as it was a curved not flat surface. Hitting the edge of the dolly to form the bend and supporting the panel area worked for me with no bead roller.

We had a bead roller in shop class in high school. I always liked to work on it. I never got real good at it but I was successful at making a quart sized oil measure. with a handle and spout. I wonder what ever happened to that thing? Mom probably sold it at a garage sale. :BangHead:

Thanks!! interesting!!
I was thinking just the other day, drueling over a tool catalogue, even IF I could afford some of those tools, I would still have to understand how to use them!!!!!

I think the reason I posted it was this guy was humble. A lot of these clowns on YouTube really are full of what ever they have been smoking. This guy was like a good shop teacher you never forgot and really impresses you as a young person. In my 50’s now and seldom does a person make me want to “like and subscribe.”
Toolmanmike- your mom still has that oil can along with all the “art” you finger painted. lol!
