I just wanted to show off this little project I did for one of my favorite neighbors down the road. It's 9 different colors (mostly candy translucents) and involved lots of masking.

Though I usually cater to hot rodders and bikers, if it's metal and fits in my oven, I'll work on it.

* * *

So I guess it's not technically an A Body Rooster Door Bell ... just wanted to share it with my friends here. I've got my blindfold and I'm linin' up for the Off Topic Firing Squad!!! Blam blam blam LOL

That's really cool looking. I'll be looking around the house for stuff to get coated just so I don't have to paint it any more:cheers:

That is a great peace of art leanna.:rock:
You must enjoy your time at your work to turn out a nice peace like that.
I have an old iron ladies shoe that I could send you.
I will get a picture of it up and let you see what you can do to it
Its an old door stop from the 50's, and it will fit in your oven.:thumbrig:

I bet your favorite neighbors was very proud of your work.:cheers:

Thank you for all the nice compliments guys!!!

Cats, bring on those things you don't wanna paint anymore.

Mikey, I'd love to see the old iron shoe. (Too bad you didn't have two of 'em though ... could do them in a sparkley bright red, you could click them together three times and get transported to Kansas!!!)

And Sid ....... [shakin head] ...... tsk tsk tsk ....... those words slipped awfully easy from your fingertips son. If I didn't know better, I'd guess that's not the first time you've said that to someone.

:love7:

Thats very nice work. Heck I didnt even enjoy the prep work I had to do to my wheels before I powdered them. When I was fabricating, the shop I worked at had an 8' x 8' oven, we were able to do quite a bit with it. Anyhow very nice work. Lotsa time invested in something like that.

Honest, Leanna, that's the first time I've ever used that line. :-D

Nice work. Did you just feather each color on? (no pun intended)

Now if you could figure out how to power coat your nails you have more time to work. LOL
