The bigger question is what ford made after 1998 wasnt a pos? LolHas the 5.0 been out long enough to determine whether it's a POS or not? I don't even know. I don't keep up with new crap.

What kind of yota did you get? Tundra or Tacoma?I just bought a new Toyota last week for parts hauling, main reason was fuel mileage.
I looked at a lot of used ones, and they just wanted too much, and the mileage was stupid high.
After it was said and done, I made the decision to buy new.
By buying it straight out, I offered 5k less than the sticker, and they took my offer.
I have a limit of how much I'm willing to spend. I'm not gonna get over zealous and buy a 30k dollar truck. Before you start shopping for a new or used truck, you need to have a fair idea of how much money you will be eligible to borrow.
I really like rams too I have had two dodge rams my first was a 1985 I bought in 2001 and drive until 2011 and the rust finally got it the leaf spring holder rust in half and the spring went thru the bed lol but mechanically it was still fine fuel mileage was horrible but the old 318 still purred like a kitten. The guy I sold it to fixed it and sold it to another guy who still drives it today. My 2nd is the one I got now I bought it in 2011 with 180k miles and still drive it today with 259k it has been an great truck I have not had any trouble with it until recently. And honestly If the frame and body wasnt so bad off I could fix it and get another 30k out of it. I found a 2011 that I really like. Its a great deal it's in Ohio so I may be going on a road trip soon.It seems like a buy a different Dodge for myself every ten years, of coarse I built them for 35 years. I had a 1997, then a 2007, and now I drive a 2017 Ram 1500 and yea It's Got a Hemi. I love my truck and the eight speed trans is awesome. One of the things that I do when ever I am looking for a newer car or truck for either me or one of my family members is I try to find one that I like that is on a competitors lot, for instance my 2017 had 20 thousand miles on it and it was on a Honda dealerships lot, it seems that they are under pressure to get them off their lot and are always ready to deal to move it. When I bought mine I took it for the test ride and then told the used car sales man what I wanted as far as trade in and price on the 2017. Of coarse they could not match the price I was willing to offer so I walked away and two weeks latter the sales manager called me back and offered it to me for what I wanted to pay. Have some patience, do your research, and stick to your guns there are some great deals out there but you need to look. I paid a price of what 2014 and 2015 Ram's are going for with many more miles on them. In my opinion I will always own a RAM I have never had any problems with them, I now have 38 thousand miles on it and everything is A OK.

I looked at a couple of the the extend cab I can't do because the back seat sucks I have three kids that ain't gonna work. I really like the 4 door trx but it's still a mid sized truck the towing and hauling capacity Is half as much for the same price and same fuel mileage. I really like the fact that you can get it in a manual transmission.Taco
How about Maryland?Totally look anything over from OH it is almost guaranteed to have rust.

I'm looking at 03-15 hemi rams 1500 I won't buy any 4.7 or 3.6. I would consider a diesel if the price was right. We found a really nice 2017 local in my price range and my wife said buy it I was like NO! She was like why? I Pointed the 3.6 v6. I was like I am not buying a v6 full size truck. She was like omg your so picky Haha. Yea I am if I pay 20k for a truck I'm getting exactly what I want. Some things that REALLY turns me off is the overpriced Toyotas. I don't care how good they were new or "for awhile" you get upwards of 150K on a rig, that "better than" is gonna start to wear off
And I REALLY don't like the Dodge/ Dakota/ RAM 3.7/ 4.7 junk. That limits "anything Dakota" for sure
I'm considering a hemi RAM, maybe 15-20K. I was gonna buy a Tacoma/ Frontier/ early low miles Dakota OR ANOTHER RANGER, but GAWD the prices are "up" from couple -three years back
Wow I just found a Ford that I really like.
2014 with 67k for 23k
Very nice looking truck.
