Ken: Checkout my Demon restoration on Youtube........if you wish to.
Search "1971 Dodge Demon restoration".
It's a 27 minute video of basically what you have been going through.

:)

I have not had a chance to check your video out yet, but will this week. I am getting ready to go on Det to Florida for 2 1/2 weeks so I will have plenty of time to catch up on the forums. Work has been crazy busy so I have not had much time for anything. I still have a motor to stuff! I cant wait, time just wont allow right now! More to follow!

OK here is the latest on the car. I just got back in town so I spent the weekend with the family and today I was off so I decided to get the engine installed. Everything went in with no issues. I installed the headers with the motor halfway out so that made things easy. The only pain was sliding the tranny in position. It fought me for awhile. Other than that everything is in and torqued. Time to build the exhaust now. Here are some pics for you all.

Welcome Back... Thanks For your services......
Dang... Looking great... Coming along very nicely.... :)

Here are some pics of the driveshaft and new lap belts going in. I had to have this bad boy custom fabricated by Fastshafts. It turned out very nice and was a perfect fit! I also started working on the exhaust. Here is the collector that I drilled out with a step drill for the O2 bung for the wideband gauge. More to follow this weekend.

Thanks all. It is getting closer and closer. I have most of the parts I need to fire it up, but now I just need the TIME! It has been a busy couple of weekends due to everyone being sick so I have been taking care of them. I was able to get out in the garage for a little while Friday night and started working on the electric fan setup. I am making my own brackets to connect them together and then attach them to the radiator. Here are some pics. I get a four day weekend next weekend so I am hoping to fire this thing up! I will post videos.

I was able to get out and work some more on making the dual fan brackets. The uppers are done and mounted. I just need to fab up the lowers and then start finishing the engine bay wiring. More to follow.

I got out of work early today so I was able to get some wrenching time in. This is going to look uglier before it looks better, so here is the progress. I finished the fan brackets and started the wiring of the engine. I had to open up the wiring harness to wire in some add on parts. I should be wrapping this up sometime tomorrow afternoon and then I will finish all of the final stuff in prep to fire this baby up. My goal is sometime Saturday so we will see how things go. Enjoy the pics. More to follow tomorrow night.

The engine bay is is finished with the exception of the wiper motor and the dash is re-installed. Tomorrow I am gonna finish the plumbing for the fuel pump and filter, install the shifter linkage and then put some fluids in it. It should be ready to fire up tomorrow if all goes well! More to follow. Not much pics today cause I was busy.

Well she is finally alive! Here are some videos of the first start and once she was warmed up! It fired up on the first try! It is nice having everything already tuned and broken in prior to the install! It makes things so much easier! This car sounds awesome!
