So the wholesale value of my 2021 longhorn ram pretty much with most of the options under 6 thousand miles is just under 40 grand. Im being told the dealer might offer 37 to39 grand
All fine and well as its really still like brand new, the truck im looking at shows MSRP of around 44 grand but right below that is something called a "express" price, meaning I guess some sort of supposedly gimmick deal and that price is almost 4 thousand over MSRP
Im thinking this is this dealer markup I hear about
Since I already inquired on line, the text messages are starting to pour in, I expect phone calls today
Ive already bought two new vehicles in the last two years from theses dealerships all owned by the same person.
I was thinking of telling them id take 39 on a trade and pay MSRP plus tax and tags.
I dislike the new car buying experience although the last two cars I bought from this dealer went well enough.
Thoughts and experiences?
