Nicks Garage, 572 HEMI, Here we go....

So is this still the same Hemi engine that RAMM was associated with?

I called him a hack and not a tuner. Got the same response. Still have never seen him pull a plug. Or tune anything for that matter. The closest I’ve seen to him tuning anything is twisting a distributor and turning idle air flow screws.

There was an episode where he had a small block on the dyno "Gonna advance it 1 more degree" turns the dist the wrong way... then, no more power, i guess that's it...

No, it's the latest video... has nothing to do with any of the older hemi stuffs....
I just watched it yesterday. It sure did chew the heck out of that piston. I would say someone broke a ring land installing the piston. By the looks of all the
silly cone to seal the oil pan, the builder was no veteran.

I used a VERY thin layer myself.. but that was excessive.... He got lucky it didn't snap a rod through the block, his comment section is like trained seals.. they might as well get some hemi orange hats and act like a cult at this point..

Ok that's what I thought. Thanks. So Nick tore up another one.

If you don't wanna watch i'll give you the run down...

Guy has a hemi built by someone else... 60 miles in it's blowing A LOT of blue smoke..
Nicks the man!! I'll take it to him

On the dyno.. it sounds hurt and is blowing A LOT of blue smoke...

Over and over "It's the pcv!!"

And it's A LOT of smoke.. the pvc would have to be sitting in oil pretty much...

Ok.. lets rev the **** out of it for 30 minutes.... the smoke is worse.... Sooo... i have an idea.. let's dyno it and spin it to 6500 under load!!!

Multiple times.....

BOOOM..... piston comes apart.. takes out 2 cyls.... that now need sleeves and ruined at least 1 rod..

Nick keeps saying "We need to get to the bottom of why this happened!"

That is literally how bad it is.. he blew up a hemi that needed minor work for no reason other than to blow it up.. and him saying "Oh well" when they mention the customer says all i ever need to know about him...

Here RRR, this is the last few minutes when it blows up... check out the exhaust on the right bank...

He was adjusting the IDLE air mixture screws saying “I can’t tell if the smoke is blue or black”. Like they have any affect during a pull from 3000-5500. “Look at the afr, the afr is good”.
Guys Nick is a hack. Plain and simple. He didn’t blow that engine up for fun. He didn’t blow it up for likes, or views or whatever. That engine blew up because Nick and his brother are too damn dumb to know any better.

It's good for readership. Look at how the story has spilled over to this forum and a bunch of us are talking about it. There's probably more than a few dozen mew people have watched the video. His analytics will show this one will be a popular video for him. It's all a numbers game once you start collecting a paycheck from YouTube.

That's your opinion.. he has like 200k people that say he's a god! so he must be.. kinda how life works at this point :)

Seriously though... after hearing it start, i would have pulled the valve covers to check for anything broken (since the top was making noise also) and then ran a $25 scope down each cyl... even my 318 i have done more diagnosis on...

Ya, dumb like a fox!

For as many people seem to be watching his videos, I'd beg to differ. He's laughing all the way to the bank. Just like Tony. As sad as it is, they all have a cult following that fund their shenanigans.

That's the interesting thing about cults... no matter what a horrible low life piece of scum the cult leader is.. the members will just nod and cheer for him... it's very odd times.

He may not care, and posted the video for likes. For sure it’s content and his mouth breathing followers will watch. But that engine blew up because they were ignorant. I’ll stand by that.

And the channel metrics don’t seem to follow your logic. He doesn’t make much you tube money. Solidifying my argument that he’s an idiot.

I think YT runs its course trying to make ft employment money off it is quite an undertaking. It is probably supplemental income yes. Take everybody's favorite channel Uncle Tony... how many Carb videos has he made? its because he posts daily and runs out of content so he rehashes stuff to keep it going. Anyway back on topic I don't think Nick blew that up for fun he had a hemi on his channel and knew it would draw clicks but to blow it on purpose ? nah too expensive...but I just had an idea for YT content blowing up engines on purpose than tearing them down to look inside I think people would watch what say you...?

Yeah. Jap motors and such.

A 1 day old video and it has already had over 100,000 views. He has a few videos that have hit over 100,000. those vids could pay him a couple hundred to $1500 so far depending on his analytics.

I subscribe to Rick Beato, a music guy with over 5 million subscribers. A video he posted about guitar intro's not long ago has 21 million views so far. You tube pays between $42,000 and $126,000 for just that video depending on his analytics. I would imagine closer to the $126,000 for Rick because of his popularity. Oh, and he has produced 1900+ videos.

I will never get why he is so popular... can almost not escape him
