Nicks Garage, 572 HEMI, Here we go....

-
I was at a July 4th party and a friend pulled up in is Dart with an LA 360, it had an obvious miss popping through the carb but only on 1 cylinder. I kept saying "does it have adjustable valvetrain? maybe one had the adjustment back off? he says "yeah" we pull the valve covers its the factory shaft setup. That's not it I then say could be a crossed wire, bad wire, collapsed lifter or your cam is going bad he didn't want to hear it... point is the explosion is happening on one cylinder when the intake valve is open. This kind of stuff.. then people don't want to believe leads to these types of failures. because people just run it anyway...like Nick the evidence was there and the guy kept revving it etc. same mindset we sometimes don't stop and listen etc.

It's all intentional fellers. The whole show is a bs scam show for ratings and clicks and whatnot.

I don’t think it was set up. I honestly think Nick and his brother are both too dumb to understand what that engine needed was a proper diagnosis and not an internet dyno operator trying to make a previous builder/operator look bad for “claiming” a HP number. That was the “do it for clicks” part to me. The agenda wasn’t to blow it up, but to prove how much better they are than the other guys, and it severely backfired on them.

Does anyone think Nick will pay to fix it? does he have insurance etc? or is there a disclaimer when you have your engine dynoed?

He was talking at the end about getting a quote to the customer for how much it will cost to fix. If that were my engine, Nick would be responsible for replacement. It’s his fault and there’s video evidence of it.

Unbelievable, 48 minutes? I made it 10 and I was full. Remarkable that with the vc change and all the carb tweaking it didn't fix the smoke. :BangHead:
So 3rd rebuilds a charm?
Owner said it was built a 2nd time and sat for 12 years?? Did it get primed, ANYTHING?

I called nick a hack builder a few years ago, lots of people were offended. Here is definitive proof. His diagnostic abilities are piss poor. His inability to diagnose allowed him to destroy this poor customers engine. And now hes going to give him a quote to rebuild it. What a ******* clown

What's to diagnose? A blind man couldda seen all the smoke and steam. Well before the thing broke. You just don't keep on thrashing on a hurt motor.

I called him a hack and not a tuner. Got the same response. Still have never seen him pull a plug. Or tune anything for that matter. The closest I’ve seen to him tuning anything is twisting a distributor and turning idle air flow screws.

I didn't even make it that far. Just watched a few seconds, then fast forwarded, watched a few more seconds, couple more times of that, maybe watched a minute total. Then took a quick look at the comments from his loyal followers. Wow!

Won't click on that... I already click on enough incompetent stuff on youtube. No need to fund this hacks escapades.

Reminds of a relative. Towing a pretty big boat behind his truck, mentions it was making this "rattling" noise going up the grade leaving town... I ask, "What did you do when noticed the noise?"
Answer - nothing
"So you kept your foot buried to the floor?"
Answer - Yep

Truck was in the shop for fresh head gaskets about a month later. Apparently he did this multiple times, truck said No Mas!

These videos remind me of that exchange.

And he put factory valve covers on it, which will never clear the indy rockers, to test his pcv theory, when all he had to do was plug the damn pcv hose. Moron

Nope, it's like watching a 20-car pile-up in ultra slow-mo, except all of the drivers are able to move in real time.....but it happens anyways.........
SHEEEEIT!!! Uncle Nick KNOWS it's just loadin' up, just needs a few more WOT romps to 6500 to clear it out & get that lazy lifter to pump up,............
:rofl::realcrazy:

Reminds me of that Tony guy's videos. Why watch the videos just to complain about them on the internet? If they're hacks, move on to something more productive.
