dukeboy_318 yes I can mix whatever you want.

momoparman, I don't like to see that in printed form. LOL may not be quite that bad. But if your where to add in my hourly rate. Well.....maybe closer than I would like.

Periodically I feature an HDK car on our Facebook page and the night before last I posted
a dozen photos of your build. It is very popular!

The response has been overwhelming with 17,352 people reached, 28 comments and 69 shares.

This is just so far. Outstanding job! You have a lot of fans out there......More than ever now.

Wow. That's really cool. You just never know how a project like mine will be excepted. But I knew going into this that it would be a love it or hate it.
Thanks for posting

A little more work done tonight. Trimmed the resonator inlet and outlet back to get it to slide in between the fender and engine compartment sheet metal with the v band flange in place. Cut and fit the short exhaust tube to center the resonator in the fender. Tached everything in place. Had to stop there to get the front fender lined up and gapped before I cut the fender for the exhaust tip.

Before you powder coat /paint your suspension. ....you might consider updating to the HDK sway bar that goes over the tie rods. Other than a different bar, the only modification are different brackets on the LCAs....HDK does the LCA mod (for all customers)...no charge.

Denny. I have the sway bar you sent me from Helwig is that not what you are using today?

Last year, Hellwig abrubtly increased the minimum order requirement and eliminated the drop ship direct to my customer option, and I was forced to make a change to get the sway bar to fit inside the shipping box I use. Since that change required new ($$$) CAD drawings....I added an update to an OVER the tie rod design to keep things further tucked up adding additional ground clearance.

I attempted to re-bend the bars I had in stock to conform to the over the tie rod configuration, but the end links ended up with an odd angle. The conclusion was.... more effort and expense to modify than to change out.

I have a dozen or so of the old version....now in my scrap metal area.

That sucks. Do you have any pictures of the new design?

There is one on Ross's (Orangewagon) Duster....look at the last few pages.

I cannot supply a link with my tablet right now.

Well back at it today. I fitted the fender and set all the gaps so I could finish the exhaust. Still need to can an exhaust flange but pretty much ready to finish welding it up.

Isn't that going to leave exhaust soot down the side of the car ??? Are you concerned about the close proximity of heat and the blistering of paint ?

Maybe use a slight extension with an elbow? And a stainless steel ring around the opening?

Oh and 100K is not something to be sad about.....It's a milestone. :D

You can't take it with you.....but you can spend, it and enjoy it!

Maybe use the end of a Tuba on the end of that opening.....get that deep sound your looking for.

I know....I'm not being helpful.

Thanks for the picture if the new sway bar design. I will be sending back the lower A arms when I start tear down.
As for the exhaust. It will have A trim ring around the opening. Stick out is about 3/8 right now. The tip is just temporary until I see it with the trim ring.
As far as the scorching of the paint.
Well not really a concern. I have seen several cars with this kid of set up with no problems.

#2, I guess. I'd modify it to have 10 - 12 screw holes vs. 6. If I get a choice that is....:D

Can you at least anodize the ring the same color as your wheels?

I'm bored. I finished my winter build and I need something to do. Sorry to high-jack your build. I'm known to do that.

Ok finally got the cold side of the turbo fitted to the intercooler. Had to order a 90 degree cast elbow to weld to the housing. This small amount of tubing has been a pain ibn the *** to get sorted out. To big of tube in to short of a run. But we got it done. Well all except the reducer that I ordered today. One more thing off the check list.
