What do you guys think?
That looks cool. I didn't even know about the different types of center caps until today. I know everyone won't like the black. But I love it.Can't say I'm a fan....a little too much black for my liking!
My '72 Demon had the acorn center caps.....swapped them for the earlier sombreros.
With a quick glance it now just looks if you have black steelies with a dogdish hubcap.
That, as such looks good, but I think I would want to just get another set of wheels with black steelies and dogdishes then, and not waste time with plastdip.
you bought and paid for your car, it is yours so you do whatever you want to it, whatever makes you happy with your car!I like the factory look of rallies with the silver paint, don't like the blacked out look at all.
Now if it were plain steelies, hell yeah!
But it's your car, do what you want...........
Just a little detail painting on mine made all the difference to me.
straight black with chrome Acorn nuts.

For me I knew before I did this it would be a temporary thing until I decided what I wanted.
I was thinking all black aluminum 17" but now I'm leaning more toward 15" black steelies with chrome caps.
Are the steel wheels really that much heavier? Would it hurt performance much?
Yes, my plan is to to get new rims and tires eventually.
This is a quick 30$ fix.
I like it a lot haha.
