Good morning Joe, I have been looking everywhere for the video you posted of Quadzilla and could not find it this morning.
It's time for a change bud, as I looked through all your post's and was reminded of all you have gave to all the great folks here and it's only fair that you let you fabo family help you... it takes a big man to stop and realize that it will be ok to let his friends help him when need arises, Please don't deprive us of this opportunity to do something good that will warm our harts to help you as you have so many here.

Hopefully he will get back to us, I have his snail mail but that is a thing I will not give out... I just hope and pray he don't wait to long to see his mother, His father was a great man and I bet she is a very special lady that would be so proud to see him.

Well we are going to have to do something with ramcharger Joe :angry7:
He pm'ed me and said he has a bunch of spare parts he can sell for spending money " and fuel while he is visiting his mom so he think it's all good.
Some of his family has offered to help with plain tickets so he don't think Quadzilla" His Ramcharger he built" may not have to go. He has been down in the basement digging stuff up to sell Like his reloading stuff :angry7:
What are we going to do with this young Stalin.
All he want's to do is give, I hope he understands how much it means to us to make his trip nicer for him as he has made thing nicer for us.

I'm freakin' stunned. I never expected this. All I wanted with my original post was an opinion on what the market would bear on the RC without the engine (and it's not much out here). I'm conflicted because I never asked for money.
I'll just say thank you for now. You have all almost brought me to tears with your generosity and renewed faith in the human spirit of kindness and empathy. You are all "like a thousand points of light in a broad and peaceful sky" that our previous President Bush Sr. had spoke about many years ago.
I can get plane tickets from a relative and it's not an emergency at this time. I was going to use the money from the RC sale for spending money while visiting my mother, and to give the Jeep engine a "quicky rebuild" as I've been "Filling the oil and coolant and checking the gas" lately. The Jeep also needs control arm bushings, shocks and tires. Some of the jobs that I've been applying for require the use of my own vehicle and the RC would fun as hell but not appropriate to show up at a business with, lol. Plus it wouldn't fit in a parking garage in the city.
The dogs could use a good bath and Maxi needs a vet visit for a check up.
Please everyone, I'm not starving and the dogs are fed. Let me think about this for a bit.

Joe, I'll be happy to challenge you one-on-one on the matter of personal pride as I bet I know exactly how you feel. But the fact of the matter is, everybody can use a helping hand at least once in their life. Another fact is, you did not ask for financial help - it's your friends here in the FABO community that are volunteering their help for a friend. Just the same as you've volunteered assistance so many times for others.
Permit us to make things just a little less stressful for you during this time.

Just got back from my morning 2 mile walk with the two "leashed locomotives". I had time to think I want to thank you all so much. I have decided to send my info to 6pk and Memike to accept a helping hand and suck up my pride. I would be a hypocrite not to as I have helped others in the same manner when things were better and told them the same thing as you are all telling me.
You all here are the best a man a could ask for as friends and I want to ask you all to not forget our other unemployed or otherwise disadvantaged brethren here.
Thanks be to God from just a humble servant on this Sunday for it is good to be humble and thankful for your bounty. Although I was born and raised to stand on my own two feet and to accept help only in the most dire of circumstances, I now understand that sometimes I need to put away my prideful ways and bow my head, for you are the King of Kings. I'm in for sure, there isn't a better man here than Joe. I'm busy today but I'll check in tomorrow for the paypal info and send what I can, should be good for $40.
The other thing is the picture of MeMike sitting in Victoria, ever since I saw that it freaks me out, in that pic you are the spitting image of my late father. One day I'll dig up a pic of him and find a scanner and sent it to you. I've shown my wife and kids that picture and it just blew there minds.

My mom is located in a cabin in a very, very rural area called Springstead, WI. I'm doubting that there are any members near by.end quote. i wouldnt be so sure. We have a pretty big family.
