With a budget that is dwindling, I am slowly inching my way into a small block build. (For my Dodge Aspen Build)
360
+.040 pistons
3.58" stock stroke
A/C (if I have to, only when rolling)
Manual steering
3500-4000 lbs of Aspen
approximately 3.55-3.73 geared rear: I am aiming for a final first gear ratio
(rear axle gear times first gear) of approximately 10. < 3.09 X 3.21 =similar to= 2.66 X 3.73 ... >
I have PRW 1.6 steel alloyed roller rockers I would like to run but am sooo dang wishy washy about what heads to run ( I can hear Rusty chastising me now!)
Some time this afternoon (30 November2014) Lunati's website just stopped coming up on my browser.

I bought this Camshaft:
Lunati 10200301, 275/275 477/477 STREET MASTER HYDRAULIC FLATTAPPET CAMSHAFT 07401
...WAS RUN IN 360 FOR LESS THAN 300 MILES BEFORE PULLING ENGINE AND REPLACING WITH A SOLID ROLLER...for $80bucks
+
So Karl is always talking up the Rhoads lifters...so took a shot at them
I found a set for $120, rhoads lifters 2018x
I know piecing together valve train components is usually left the masters like Mike, Brian, that Ramm guy, and all the knowledgeable Robs' on this site but-
Do you guys think this will generally work alright barring piston deck height and whatever combustion chambers I run? I can get ready to run magnum heads (rockers are out) for $200 a pop or maybe trade a W2 head for an INDY/RHS LA X head- who knows
I know squat about shims, spring heights, ?valve-caps?, etc...
