First. Of course I can't sleep! :mob::BangHead::BangHead::BangHead:

Thanks for the reminder Keith. Dang we had a good time!

Can you spill the beans. What's that Cam 12? and are those piston notches really as deep as they look?

Cam 12 is just that, the 12th cam that I have in my stash for small blocks... (I have almost 30 of them in various sizes....) My older son and I went through and degreed all/most of them so we could compare them apples to apples....

The specs are written on the tag...

Those are just the standard 340 stock 10 1/2 compression pistons...

Well I drove to Raven Den Springs yesterday and picked up my brother, will be heading to the hospital at 6:30 am this morning, left leg is skinny and weak not sure what is going on ... Everyone have a day.

Seems I have been in high demand for two weeks of late, helping folks that call on me is what I do I guess .. :wtf::steering:putting my life on hold has been a full time job of mine :drama:

Morning. Take it easy Mike. I know I pushed myself way to hard this weekend also.
I know you understand because you do the same for many near you, I was supposed to play the drums yesterday at the park, my lawn mower needs repaired and I did not get to watch my sons race because of being needed .................. Life goes on and only way to get back to my life is get this other stuff behind me, Pete is my last brother living and I am able so...

Morning all!
No frost this morning. Thats a bonus.
A couple says set aside for the dodge pickup that has transmission issues. Hope to find the problem quick.

Way to much Uber, almost fell out of the car at Mitches, was totally out of whack, then home Monday almost did not get home from Keefers, really should not have driven. Have to pick him up Thurs at 0700. F that he is taking amtrack to Harrisburg! No way doing a 7 hour round trip!
AGAIN!

Yep, and my wife agree's and my sons are tired of there uncle taking up my time so much, all I can do is eat well and take care of myself as these things are happening so I can have time for myself and my family..

Mid 80’s bird showed up yesterday evening.
Car is hacked, but engine/trans is real nice. Pulling driveline, installing it into a squarebody chevy.
Thats the one i did a few days of patch panels on.
Hope the young feller is going to come help.

MeM,
I would guess most on this Forum are all of the age whereas our circle of family, friends, and peers is shrinking. It is inevitable, with each passing year we attend more and more funerals. While it is saddening it does make each day a gift for those of us with the breath of life. As a result many on here chase their dreams and live life to the fullest everyday. The posts on this forum by a bunch of old overweight gray beards are both vibrant and often times hilarious. Masking our falicies with bravado and charisma.
Mopar to live
Live to Mopar!

My son just sent me a video, water bombers are flying over the camp where he works.
Its real close.
Locals start fires in hope for evacuation, free flights out and free hotel stay until fires are suppressed.to some its a shopping trip.

I saw the lift numbers, as you know the FSM shows those cams as .429/.444 so I was curious. Love to know what the .006 durations are or what lift the book durations are measured at in practice.

Good plan. Amtrack is pretty good way to go the times I've taken it.

There's a few threads here searching for the factory 340 cam. I don't know if one was ever found to be copied.

That's nuts! and stupid!

Yep. I've been taking notes from those.
No real clarity at all. Rob (crackedback), wyrmrider and a few others have some numbers from measuring with a dial indicator or cam doctor. But nothing specific on where the Chrysler duration works out in real life on the three original cams, never mind the replica cams.

be back later. about to get hit with some storms. Want to put the jeep inside.
