Time to do the Friday thing, house photos at 10 am today, will be glad to have that part done as can "unstage" the place, can't find sh>t right now. Have a Great Day All coffee buddies!

I like the wires comment, always look towards the MIF (maintenance induced failure), worked in troubleshooting aircraft too : )
That will follow the operator induced failures like this My engine wiring harness burned up a couple wires yesterday! the ammeter was charging at nearly 40 amps for a good 20 minutes, then it settled down to about 25 amps

I hate MSD way to many fails. Been keeping out of those lately.
After Holley bought them, even the instructions went to pot.

There's a reason I went with a 6T.

Which flavor is that?

Those squeeze splices are special.
Around '90 MSD was still including the coil terminals and insulators, along with a jumper. When the MSD failed, one could jumper the termianls on the insulator and plug the OEM module back in if it wasn't a points distributor. I eventually took the ECU plug off. The 6T has been reliable.
