Stop in for a cup of coffee

Hyundai lights functioning as designed.
Turns out i should have checked a previous wire repair. I assumed it was a good splice as it had shrink tubing on it. Nope. I barely tugged on wire.

So unrapping the harness was pointless. Whatever, but the real kicker was, i figured it was a ground issue on day one.i could have fixed it in 10 minutes…

My Dad died a horrible death from Cancer. Cancer due to exposure to Agent Orange when he was in Viet Nam. I was by his side at Malcom Grow USAF Medical Center on Andrews AFB when he died. That was 1989. He was only 56 years old..

This is my cousin and best friend I ever had We worked together in a few body shops and had a great time. He died a few years ago but I have this picture of him in my garage. We worked in a Bodyshop that was an old barge and even the bathroom was made of steel and the door also. I was in the bathroom one day and he took the air hammer and rattled it on the door, so next day I got to work early and took a 5 gallon bucket of water and got in the top of the shop and when he came in I dumped it on his head. He was pretty serious about getting even and next time I was in the bathroom sitting on the toilet he tried to weld the door shut. Yea I came out real fast and my pants were down around my knees. He threw me in the dumpster and shut the lid. I miss him but he is still with me in my garage still giving me ****.
and the picture of him was his best laugh when he got even with me.

I have to say I've been around more people when they breathed their last, and listened to that death rattle.
My sister passed away while I was at Carlise . We haven't been close in years.
Just me my brother. The rest of family only if they need something.

Sorry Mitch .

Sorry Ray. Hate hearing that.

On a side note: I’m always just a phone call away if you or your brother ever need to talk. You’re both good people and the worlds a better place for it.

It’s weird, in many ways, you all in here are better family to me than my actual family. Just wish I was within easy driving range to hang out more

Love this!

Reminds me of this: When I worked at Target busting tires in the early 80’s, the air compressor for the shop was located on a mezzanine above the bathroom, and the automatic drain from the tank ran down into a floor drain near the toilet below. Well, one of the guys figured out that if he manually opened the tank drain, a bunch of air would get pushed down the line and into that floor drain, thus causing the toilet to “blow-up” on anyone sitting on it….

It got be our little initiation for new guys, and NONE of us used the bathroom when anyone else was around!

Won't sleep tonight. I want to thank all of you for your thoughts and prayers. I'm a bit of a recluse. I don't do social media beyond this coffee shop. Right now I can't imagine needing any more. :thankyou:

I think Daryl Hall coined "laughing down crying". Translates to "laughing to keep from crying". easier said than done.

Sorry to hear of all the loss. Makes for a rough start of the day. Thoughts out to everyone.

Good morning everyone. Got the tires mounted for the demon. It doesnt seem like we will make the show on Sat, which is fine. A buddy has some financial issues to deal with. Don't we all. We will see.

Drove my car to work... heard a THUD THUD and something hit the car... now i get to wonder if something fell off or i hit something in the road... wheels are still on so it's not too bad :)
