Good Morning Misfits
Mornin' c\_/ . Agreed. Not many left to loose. Odd as it seems, my neighbor Ray called Tues' evening to tell me the neighbor Weaver behind us passed 9:20PM Monday. I replied, Uggh my pop passed about 2 hours ago.Sorry for your loss Red. It seems most of us are at that age where we are losing close friends and family members. It doesn't make it easier. I know when we were expecting my Mom to pass it didn't make it easier. You will be in our thoughts
Mine stays on full for a long time, then you can watch it drop to about 1/4, levels off some. It is the cut out for the spare tirewell.. and my gas gauge rarely drops below full... i just put in 5 gallons.. it went from full to.... full![]()

yeah, mine is a normal square tank.. if i drive for a bit the gauge will start to move but just barely below full.. i think 5 gallons gone should have moved it, still don't know where it's at. i didn't fill it up, just put in $20.. I'm super paranoid bout running out of gas, i would rather the gauge showed empty early, no issue there, showing too much gas is just trolling me into having a 1 man car show on the side of the roadMine stays on full for a long time, then you can watch it drop to about 1/4, levels off some. When it rains it pours. Hang in thereMornin' c\_/ . Agreed. Not many left to loose. Odd as it seems, my neighbor Ray called Tues' evening to tell me the neighbor Weaver behind us passed 9:20PM Monday. I replied, Uggh my pop passed about 2 hours ago.
Totally typical for the later 13 ohm gauge. I'm not really shocked since I'm human too but,,, thevgauge that never was really accurate throughout the scale wasn't complained about so much back in the day. Once a aftermarket sender is installed we watch it closely and pitch a ***** about how inaccurate it is. HELLO , it's only a little less accurate than it was before.Mine stays on full for a long time, then you can watch it drop to about 1/4, levels off some. It is the cut out for the spare tire
I have an electric pump in my Fargo. I have no idea why i did it. I think it was because i put it in as the flathead fuel pump was bad.yeah, mine is a normal square tank.. if i drive for a bit the gauge will start to move but just barely below full.. i think 5 gallons gone should have moved it, still don't know where it's at. i didn't fill it up, just put in $20.. Just found this pic.. guy did a "Carb swap" and the electric pump died... so i assumed he went with a EFI setup... nope.. electric pump with a carb.. why? I will never run an electric pump unless i have to.. it's just gonna die

yeah.. i just don't trust electric (unless it's in tank and oem quality) but the ones that hang off the frame.. nope.. plus the sound of like a Holley blue makes me nutsI have an electric pump in my Fargo. I have one in my '68 F250, as the FE motors are notorious for heat soaking the carbs. So far, so good....yeah, mine is a normal square tank.. if i drive for a bit the gauge will start to move but just barely below full.. i think 5 gallons gone should have moved it, still don't know where it's at. i didn't fill it up, just put in $20.. As long as the gauge goes down as the gas get's used and it registers empty when the gas is close to gone I'm happy. You must have a aftermarket sender.yeah, mine is a normal square tank.. if i drive for a bit the gauge will start to move but just barely below full.. i think 5 gallons gone should have moved it, still don't know where it's at. i didn't fill it up, just put in $20.. That Hundai looked like a mess but any wiring harness does with no covering on it. I need to get one of mine mowed today too before I have to buy a baler.Morning!
Sunny, calm and cool. Should get this Hyundai done today. Re- inspection tomorrow i hope.
Damn grass, my yard is turning into a jungle..
The Ag manufacturers started using that a few years back. It's like WTF. And all the new ag equipment has so much electronics and miles of wires. You have to love the new soy covered wiring they use in cars. The mice also love it!
