Hi, Sorry, I was over on FBBO, as I also spend time there. I think there forums are a sickness for me . LOL. I live South of Annapolis along the Beautiful Chesapeake Bay. So. Md. Redneck.

Wow that's down there. I thought you may be up at the top of Md.

These sites are addicting. I am on FEBO but it is slow compared to FABO

Yeah, I was actually over there first, as I restored numbers 68 Road Runner. I'm over there as 68Chicken. Check out the RR build thread http://www.forbbodiesonly.com/moparforum/showthread.php?26040-The-Golden-Rotisserie-Chicken

Just saw, you said FEBO , I thought FBBO. Thing is, I am also over there as 68Chicken since a have a 70 Cuda 383 4spd.
Like I said. Addiction. LOL

Yes...FEBO I am ChallengerBlue. I hardly ever get on over there. I have a 72 Challenger but have been working on my Dart as of late.

yea, I am also on FBBO and FEBO

I am only on FBBO to buy parts only, there is a real smart alec over there that has a knack to muddy up just about every thread. I guess every site has one even here. But I don't have time for it on FBBO and I am just in and out for the parts score.

FEBO is a complete waste of time, not only is it slow but the parts are just not coming through. I was looking for a non- A/C heater box for a 73 challenger and only one person replied and wanted a mint and an arm for one. other than that its boring.

then I also signed up on jeeps only because I used to have a wagoner that I was in love with at one time but then I sold it around the time I got ahold of the coronet wagon .....have not looked back.

Morning all! It is about time I disappear here this morning.
Thanks for the invite there Mitch

FEBO is what it is a few good members. Just not enough.

I would still like to know the engineering reason why after 71 the big block was not available in E-bodies anymore. Some say its a better weight balance but I don't believe that. There has to be a reason Chrysler did that when there is definitely no problem getting a big block to fit with some space to spare even.

Some say insurance.

I believe it had to do with Insurance rates climbing for cars with High Performance motors, also EPA regs. Besides the fact that Ma Mopar was already pulling back on HP rates for same size/ earlier engines. Also add in Sales figures and the fact that the handling was actually better with the small block. IMO many reasons

Morning Mitch. I need to walk out to the shop and get the heat going now before all the wind starts.

Burr it's cold. -16 this morning. Boy does that hot cup of java taste good this morning.
