The last two years have been bad. It makes the next snow hard to plow because I can't put chains on the tractor. I was going to get wheel spaces to move the wheels away from the frame so I could but we all know how that goes. When it's warm and not snowing I don't need the chains!

My buddy has his drive paved and it is true his will melt faster, but he is on the North side of the Mt. and he deals with the same issue for a while

Do you have what we call Cold mix ? When they start making it here mid to late spring I can have a load delivered here and spread it by hand with help of family or friends, not sure what the cost is now but it works great for pot holes (bird bath low spots) :coffee2: It's a dry mix that will pack in with a rented roller, you may have seen crews out patching pot holes using it.

That 12k was the raw material and I do it myself, It is just a large area because if I am going to do it, it will be the drive, parking are and to the shop and the door aprons. If I was still able and working it would have been done by now. In another month I will probably forget about it!

I hear you. My tires are calcium? filled and in four wheel drive it still spins sometimes. I guess I need to make a weight box for the rear. I use the bucket for plowing but I need to find a junk 6' plow blade and put it on, to scrape better. The bucket comes right off with two pins so It should not be hard to adapt.

I would say 10k Square foot or so. My problem is there is no plant near here so delivery is a lot! The gravel is a quarry about 6 mi from here. Cmon Spring!

Yep ! Transport will get yea, sounds like your drive is about 100 ft long.
Stick to the gravel and be glad you don't have a mud hole there .. :coffee2:

I dealt with the mud when I first move in. The house was vacant for at least 10 years and no maintenance to speak of. We have a lot of clay here and it took 60 yards of gravel to get a base going.

morning fabo land.

I am already up and at em. Who would have thought cutting a hole in the floor of a car would be so tough.

The hole saw is only made for wood and tin so it ended up being a pretty tough wrestling match to get a hole cut for a console shifter ....now I have to line it all up and weld the brackets in this morning.
