Young fellow from down the road Eileen is his surrogate mom. She calls him her boyfriend lol. Now that there is light in the garage thank you Ray. he will be hanging around a lot more. He has a great interest in old cars.
Cool Ray. I got a young man ( Joseph) who hangs out in my shop and wants to learn EVERYTHING

Good morning! I have a son like that too but when my computer doesn't work he's my "go to guy". lol I just hope he will wake up one day soon and make something of himself. Playing games doesn't pay the bills. I told him there is no electricity or internet under a bridge cause that's where you'll be living if you don't get a job. Rant over....thanks for listening. LOL

g'morning. coffee is half cold now. Put off shovelling the white stuff last night. Took a chance the frozen rain would make a crust rather than have it on the pavement. I'll probably fire up the snow-thro at the (rented) garage a little later. Too early on a Sunday to do it now, it would be kindof rude. 6 hp Ariens almost as old as the car, I think its a '68.
Good morning, it thinks it's spring here. The trees are starting to bud and the flowers are starting to grow. Been a weird winter here. Hardly any snow pack in the mountains.
Yeah,We are blessed,my sons are 29 and 33 and have careers and don't live at home.Daughter is a Doctor. My wife says that they probably still hate me. LOL . You know, Sue and I had that good cop bad cop thing working in our household. I always knew that being a little tough on them would be good in the long run. Must have been my Military Brat upbringing.
Believe it or not this young Guy Joseph is from our Church. Doesn't smoke or drink, and is very ambitious. He knows about all the electronics that young people are into also. Has helped me with computer issues. Shows up here sometimes to shovel the drive or blow the leaves from the gutter and yard. He's been hanging around here for a couple of years now, and watches everything I do out in the shop. To the point now that he'll call to see if the lift bay is open so he can do a side job or repair on his own stuff. He has 2 part time jobs and goes to community college. And does home repair and bathroom tile. I mean, I am so impressed with this young man. He is a true Entrepreneur. I'm teaching him about finance and investment now.

We have had a great winter Stan, this last week or so has been all we have had

Good morning all!! Reading with much joy about all of your young lads, and your wife's boyfriends!! You guys sure know what goes with coffee this Sunday!!! Hope it's going to at least be 20 something today so our poor puppy can go out and stretch her legs! She really needs to run and chase something, but she's like Memikes dog Buddy, not much fur to keep her warm!! Hope to get on the dash light problem on Nellas car today, and finish pulling the motor from SSVDP Richs car for the transplant!!
