I had to go to a meeting last night at my son's school, just so he can attend prom....
Really? I need to go to a meeting so my son can go to prom.... WTF?
I'm a single dad with two boys. I'm taking night classes, so I can get back to work again, and they want me to go sit through this boring "meeting"....
If I don't go to this meeting, then I have to buy a DVD from the guidance department and then sign off that I've watched it....
Then get these counselors and law enforcement to tell us how to be "good parents"... Really? If I needed this, I would watch Dr. Phil, just let my kid go to prom....

Morning all! Karl that is nuts. My sons high school was pretty good about stuff like that. I remember that had a transgender day and the kids could come out if they wanted to. I love living in a small town that the schools close for the first day of Deer season!

They had some guy that was let out of jail from being wrongly sent to prison for assaulting/raping a woman. Even though the was found not guilty, still creeped us out a little...
No parents had to go to a meeting to allow you to go to prom. I felt like I was being held hostage....
then they also hand out this form to take a survey from some university on how well the school district is doing... I filled it out when they sent the link through email. The survey is useless as tits on a bull.... Stupid questions that won't let you say what you want to say.... I didn't want to fill out everything as all good, as I am disappointed that there are a couple of classes offered at the two other high schools in our district, but ours seems to get the "hind tit"...
So in trying to convey my disappointment, I felt that I may have hurt my school for knocking it. This survey has to be completed to allow some funding for the school, if they don't get enough responses, the district will loose some funding....
There was no way for me to exactly explain why I was disappointed, just that I was disappointed. I even emailed the school administrator telling him the same thing as I have here.
So then they try to put this survey at the end of the agenda so that the other parents can get theirs done.... :banghead: :finga:

Hell, Obummer is in office, he's from Chicago, isn't that enough for us to "get a little more funding" (nudge, nudge, wink, wink....)??? But on a good note, my service manuals finally were delivered that I bought from Steve in Canada...
They have been sitting in a post office warehouse in Chicago since Feb 14... Why did it take only one or two days for them to come here from Canada to sit for three weeks??? I was about to start tracking them down if they didn't come....
We also got the rubber doughnut seal for the gas tank, j-bolts, and pad for it. New sending unit, seal, and lock ring installed. Now just waiting for the straps to be shipped "from the manufacturer" to come so we can mount it...
Then see how long of a ground strap we will need for the sending unit...
Told the kid to degrease and paint it so it will be ready when we get the straps.
I got the money order in the mail for the Challenger rear valence panel bracket so I can hopefully get the convertible to the body shop and get it painted. I believe that is the last part that we need to get it ready for paint... Woo-Hoo!!!
Then I need to figure out what pistons that I want to use for the 360 that we are going to build for it. I know how high I need to get the proper compression, now I just have to figure out how the specs for new ones fit in with my calculated spec....
Once I get the pistons figured out, all I need is the refresh C kit from Mancini if it comes with the proper pistons, if not, then I will have to buy the pistons separately and then go with the A refresh kit, but would rather get the C refresh kit as it comes with freeze plugs and a few extra goodies....
I just have to finger out what direction to go with for the pistons...

Man it is slick out here. I just used a 50 LB bag of salt on the driveway so I can get out this morning! I wish I had my camera with me the Beagle was in two paw drive using its front legs to move and its *** on the ice! That made my morning.
