Stop in for a cup of coffee

I was planning on staying up all night and getting some work done ....so around 7 p I changed into older clothes to get dirty and all and then I thought I would rest my eyes for a few minutes because I was feeling sleepy. So I thought a 10 minute power nap....I woke up and it was past 4 a.

sometimes you need to put rest before everything...

Get well soon! Sounds like you were close to a trip to the ER and they would have admitted you and put you on an IV for fluids.

That was on my mind the whole time... I did not want to go to the hospital as I have too many bills to catch up on and I don't need any more hanging over my head...

Being off work for 4 months with a broken hand this summer just added to that problem...

Luckily my son learned a little about medicine from his grandfather who is a retired doctor of internal medicine and cardiology... He called grandpa for advice and took great care of me...

Sorry to hear Karl. kudos to your son. hope the crap passes quickly.

Damn Karl. Thank God your son was there to help.

Thanks for the all well wishes guys, your support helps keep my morale up... :welcome:

I'm starting to feel better now... After getting my fluids back up with lots of Gatorade... I still had dizzyness when I tried to walk...

Yesterday morning I started with eating two pieces of toast and my energy started to come up a bit.... Then after a couple hours, I had 4 more pieces of toast and some chicken noodle soup with garlic...

Then last night I cooked some elbow mac with alfredo sauce and ground beef and pigged out on two bowls... then had 4 leftover ribs a little later...

Now I can walk and take care of myself again...

In hindsight I was putting work before myself and also lost my appetite with the cold... I went with not eating much because of lack of appetite and hoping to loose a few pounds from not eating... I didn't know that I was getting so dehydrated... Please learn from my mistake and take care of yourselves when you start to feel ill....

I'm have to go grocery shopping for the week now and hope they do not sell out of some of the items that I need... They sometimes run out of chocolate milk and other things if you get there too late... :BangHead:

I hope it passes and get well quickly... I'm with you on the back pain...
Yeah I'd almost rather have the knee surgeries again. At least I could find a comfortable spot

Take care bud

Yikes Karl I didn't see that you had been sick, or Chris that you are having back trouble.

Headed to a Christmas party shortly. Funny how I always dread those situations but afterwards am glad I went.

Figured out the mystery of the water puddle under the Fury. It has to be condensation from when it goes from warm to cool in the damp nighttime air.
