Looks like this Nor'easter is going to take a swipe at us. Predicting 5"-7" of snow, 40 mph winds and wind chills down as low as -20*F.

That's my plan...except for the clearing of the driveway, etc. I think I will probably let that wait until Friday and just clear enough tomorrow to take the dog out when he needs to go.

Yeah, we are on the edge between bad and worse. If it moves 20 miles east, we could get 50% more snow...and vice-versa.

We had one of these kind of storms a few years ago where they predicted 6"...and we ended up getting 14".

Eh I doubt 1 is accurate. We're two states and away from it and supposed to get 1-3

It is when the atmospheric pressure drops extremely fast. Like 24 isobars the little lines around a High pressure. A Bomb cycle drops 24 isobars in 24 hours which creates high winds. This one will supposedly drop much faster.

Actually "bombing" is a meteorological term for a storm that drops pressure rapidly gaining strength quickly. It is often called "bombing out".

Yeah you are. 150s aren't exactly designed for all weather flying like that.
It was an unexpected storm that popped up after takeoff. Weather service gave us a 3 hour window that quickly closed. What a ride!
