Yep. Just got back from fixin' a little while ago. Not enough time to cook the brisquet so its off to the Taco shop with the dog.

I really like those FSJ wagoneers ...I had an 86 with the AMC 360. It was originally an auto but there was a GM 4 speed that someone may or may not have hacked in. :rolleyes:

I really did like that truck but I sold it to make room when I got my 68 coronet wagon. So it was a case of something had to sacrificed and it was the chosen one. Sick thing is that I own acreage now to store cars so if that would be now, I wouldn't have to sacrifice it now but that was a few years ago when I had my dad saying to clean up the yard.
 
Cool end of page 4 and top of 5. It does control the ground to spark. Can see it either way was not sure how the box worked internally except for a signal amp.

:wtf: Ray ain't made no damn sense in years and it aint likely now. LOL.

I found it in the link you put up - a 1973 bulletin. The signal from the reluctor pickup INTERUPTS the circuit.... So it is a normally closed transistor in the ECU.
