Stop in for a cup of coffee

Hey @halifaxhops , I got my thermo switches yesterday. Cool stuff. They are quite small too.

A member here just offered me a decent hoard of cores. Now I have to go through all the numbers and see what they are before committing!
One of the first posts I read this morning. My brain saw 'heard of cows' Was thinkin :wtf: is Hoppy getting into now? LOL

Funny how that just pops up. Last year I bought prob 50 from a guy. I paid him, Tike and Mitch picked them up for me in Hagerstown then I went to Tikes to pick them up. Then last year at Carlisle Tim/Craig and Wolfie took over his parking spot! Craig it was that guy Bob across from you.
And a fine spot it is!

Hey I just rented the spot and Keith set up shop. I only needed it to park the car.
They, Carlisle called me a couple weeks ago. Lady asked what I was selling....ahhh MOPAR stuff. Oh well we wanted to list you in our brochure.
I don't remember that last year, oh well.
You were selling 74-76 Duster parts. Not sure was I am doing now that the Magnum is history. :(

Just got to work. 1/2 the trip was the radio telling all the closings. Bars, restaurants, banks, YMCA, factories, other businesses...-24 with -51 wind chill. Almost white out on freeway in spots. Here and warm now.
Takes a lot for my work to close. They are supposed to text us if they do, so I barely pay attention to the closings anymore.

Schools closed here. Heck don't think anyone walks to school now. Some poor kids school is two of their meals a day.
It will be cold today, but see no need to close. Back in the day...ahh I'll stop there.
Probably can't get the busses warm enough

Now we all know the problem with Ray...inhaled to many diesel fumes...
That was just a chaser for everything else he inhaled...

I hope y'all have snowmoble suits to work in and goggles , that is dangerous cold
Think I will put my full suit Carhartd on to do the driveway in abit. We got about 3"of snow

Cant tolerate any exhaust fumes at all.
Same

Thats why we can not
be pilots , we would pass out after a few minutes , I can not do it ether
Don't know that I would ever pass out, but diesel fumes make me nauseous. Hate high traffic areas
in big cities
. Just being there makes me feel sick sometimes.
I have humidifiers on both floors. It is always 20-25% in the winter. Hot water heat doesn't add any moisture for sure.
Have a whole house humidifier on the air system. I keep it on when using oil/hot water or woodstove, but does not work as well when its not heating. I do have a kettle I sit on the woodstove need to go fill that.

When it gets around 15% you can spark an arc when turning on a light. (good ground path) You can make a CFL bulb flicker sometimes. LOL
Can you use a long fluorescent tube as a light saber?

Good Morning

Sadly had to run into work today even though we are closed, got a phone call this morning from the electric company that we were getting curtailed electrically. I had a whole 27 minutes to get to work and get 3 generators online and switched over with out penalty. I almost made it, we might have a minute or 2 of penalty coming.

Then on top of it its so damn cold out that our back up fuel (propane) is freezing up on the way into the building, this is after all of our heaters and pumps. Not much we can do so we are running 1 boiler instead of 4 and circulating about 98* water instead of 170*. Man is it fricking cold out there.

Nope, home now. I have minions that have to be at work though...
Good for you. Sucks to be them but somebody has to do it. My wife went in as did many of the department heads. The non essential employees could take a vacation day.

We've been getting two meals delivered once a week from Hello Fresh. Great food, easy to prepare, plenty to eat, and GOOD!!

I had a go cart when I was a teen that we put a 440 snowmobile engine in.. Holy hell! That thing was a blast, except it didnt have independent front suspension so you had to make sure you were holding onto the wheel otherwise it would want to break your wrists, going over uneven ground.
