Stop in for a cup of coffee

I hate to tell you this but nos you might want to open up and change out the needle and seats if rubber and the accelerator pump plunger also. What number again?

-28 again this morning. Going to warm up next week. Finally.

Morning Guys. First coffee in a few days.
Still cannot believe I had that breaker plate assy yesterday. Thought they were going to Carlisle , but now might just keep them all.
Any luck on the GSS supercharger timing info?
Whats been kicking my *** since I started doing these are primary leads. Some times I can make them other times no cannot find the right terminal ends.
Do they have molded ends over the crimp?

Well he had one recently that sold for $200. No not cheap.
A place called 2040 Auto had an old one for $30. Think its a scam place though. No phone number you have to download their message center to talk to them. When I tried my over protective computer went nuts with several warnings and alerts so I stopped. Looked on line and several people commenting the same problem. Its one of those to good to be true things...JMO.
I think 2040 and places like that are just aggregators. They collect ebay ads etc using 'spiders' or similar software and put them together. Don't know how they make money. Its not pass through fees so its either ads or by collecting and reselling info about who visits or goes through their site.

He sent me the original one to "clone" with all nos parts.

The terminals I am looking for are the "D" eye terminals and the folded over ones for the dual points both left and right.

Have the covering for them nailed even in colors. That took a hell of a lot of beer to figure out.

That's cool. Looking forward to what you find there.

Got it. I'll keep an eye out. Next time I'm at Cross Keys at Fazzios for scrap metal I'll look through the bins of electral stuff.
They redid and seperated the new metal sales - not half as good as it used to be so less reason to go there now.

What's the red insulation? is that soimething you add or does that have to come with the terminal?

I just sent him a e mail, see what happens. Those flag style terminals come in a left and right would love to find a source for them.

For curiousity I just tried the search for alternator grease retainer and then slip ring. I see what you mean about the search.
Still cool site.

I e-mailed Standard Motor about the voltage regulator failures. Not a lot of help - the "tech" people who answer inquiries don't have much info.
The guy sent a drawing with the dimensions and set point but had no info about max current allowed or really anything.
He did sugggest I could have the retailer send one in for evaluation. Unfortunately got the last two through Rock-auto. Unlikely they could be bothered.

Good morning coffee crew, I am going to have to get another set of hands to help with my headers, but not today, fish fry at my friends shop this morning at 11 am.
Birthday super bowl get together for my late little brother last weekend, so I can't seem to get anything dun it seems.
Have a good one today and an even better one tomorrow
Time to get breakfast in me and shower.

Craig I still have to look for a meter for you just been slammed with distributor work
Hey no hurry. In fact might just let you take the time to find something and bring it to Carlisle and show me how it all works??
