Stop in for a cup of coffee

My shaft is short! Prob from the pickups the military used I bet. No biggie to change over though.
"So I think the only short shaft 727's have a bolt on driveshaft yoke. All 727's were the same length, with a slip on driveshaft. Could be wrong...show me...

904's and 727's unless they were in a truck chassis as mentioed above all have the same length meaning 904s are one length 727s are another

And truck trans dont have the two holes to mount console shifter.

Ok, I know nothing, but do agree with Tim. Trucks and RVs has short tailshafts with bolt on yokes. All the rest are the same as far as I know.

It solved some of the issues. Valve body has an open circuit when in park, shows as in reverse. So no crank. Ground the circuit and it fires up.
Original valve body should be good,as i believe they swapped it due to 2 cut wires.

They have to be worth 6-800 each. Prob no fittings or shift levers he will look for me this week. Definitely no converters.

So I am finally on the edge of taking Demon to paint. I have to make it a roller as the painter insists. No offense to all on here that are painters, but I have never met a good one yet that wasn't a bit "odd" kind of like Goalies! Sorry, a bit of hockey humor! So anyway started hanging front-end for final push to paint. Once again Denny at HDK bailed my dumba** self out of a jam. I was missing a piece and simply could not figure it out as I am new to rack and pinion. In true FABO style he pointed out my mistake (graciously) and then sent me a link to a vendors (not his) website for the missing component. How cool is that! Thanks Denny! Likely as far as I can go until I return from MITP
