Don't know how far he read, but apparently Wolfie went back to the beginning and did some reading. Got a few likes last week. I'm thinking when did I say that? 2014. LOL

I was pretty beat up last night. Was getting ready for work and stepped on a dog toy. Squeak! I guess I twisted as I rebounded off it and aggravated a groin pull that otherwise seamed to be almost healed. :mad: Decided to call off work. It was feeling a bit better later so decided I could do 'a little' work on the neon and get one side rocker cover done. Not much walking and took it easy getting up and down. But man were my arms sore. Had to do some metal pulling and bondo on the dog leg behind back door. Then the skin that is supposed to be 'clip on' doesn't reach the lower flange. Side rusted to nothing, but the bottom flange is a ***** to drill. It's on for now. Will have to come off to do some finish and seal. Mostly to get through inspection. Probably do a black 'chip gaurd' type paint over the rockers. Once that's done there really isn't much else wrong with the body. Couple dings that wouldn't take much to fix. Clear coat pealing makes it look like crap. Might do a spray bomb or roller paint job on it eventually...

I am working up the courage to go out in the shop and see what kind of mess I got going out there from impromptu party last night. Shouldn't be to bad just misc MT wine bottles and a occasional MT Crown Royal jug, plus a few shot glasses laying about. That dang Patron is yummy!
 
Good morning all. My back is shot. Muscle relaxers and pain killers today. Attempted to take Demon out to see how it acted now that I found the issue. Start, die, start, die, repeat..repeat... when checking on all electrical connections, found neg stud on coil was broken. Ugh..ran got a new one and a new module right away. Fired up and died again....dammit. then found fuel pump leaking. When trying to tighten, the wrench arced on the alternator stud...how it didnt burst into flames I have no idea. So, ran to the truck to disconnect battery while wor li ing on fuel leak. Huge puddle now....found battery hold down is broken already too. WTF!..Fixed all issues, double checked all connections. Found the ballast resistor dummy connection a friend made had a terminal loose in the porcelain. Made it was grounding on the wiper motor occassionally??? Put jumper wire back in instead. Fired up and ran. Drove down the road and back without issue. But it has done that before too so who knows. All lights work though and did a great burnout. At least stumble is almost completely gone.
 
Sprint Cars and door slammers at the speedway tonight. I haven't checked with my buddy to see if his wife is going to be racing her hobby stock tonight, he races a hobby also. She got pretty beat up about 3 weeks ago in a motorcycle accident, nothing catastrophic, but some serious bumps and bruises. He won't mind if she doesn't, she's one spot above him in the season points :lol:. She is that good. She has a couple of IKF karting national wins to her credit.
