He also had a home made tractor, local high school kid in shop class. Main body of tractor is a car frame rail, pretty cool and both of these tractors run. It's only 20 miles to the Canadian border from this guys house, Frank did you go to school down here lol!

After showing me his tractor toys he showed me his truck, 53 Dodge. It was painted in a local milk barn, lot of dairy/farm in Northern Whatcom county. He built the wood rack, looked pretty cool. Motor was a 318.

Well I am off to our first Cowboy shoot of the year. I practiced for several hours last night growing accustomed to the western holster again. Muscle memory is a serious thing. I would palm my pistols (I have to draw both at same time) then draw them and my trigger finger immediately extended and nestled down side of frame. arghhh! In this game I have to be pulling hammer back and pulling trigger at same time while the other hand is engaging target. I need to be shooting both pistols alternately in a rapid fashion. You have to rely upon muscle memory or your brain gets tangled up. I have literally discharged wrong pistol while engaging target with opposing hand. I had a delay with target acquisition and my brain told my hand to pull trigger after I got hammer back! Blew a nice chunk of dirt at target!

Soooooooooo, did you hit the target with the dirt at least?:poke::poke::poke::poke::poke:

When I pulled into the freezer guys property I noticed he had a couple old, different looking tractors in his front yard. This one has rope steering, which I'd never seen but I guess it was common on old boats? Also rare was the transmission was Model A (I think). It doesn't have the correct front wheels on it, but what a machine.

Looks like a Gibson with out the cowling.

Well son of a *****. Ran a couple errands. Last stop, then home. Hop in truck. Cranks 2 revs and stops. Everything powers up, gadgets reads fine, no crank. Crank sensor? (@Tooljunkie) ha ha ha. Assuming starter **** the bed. Had someone try to jump start but didn't change. Beat the hell out of it, still no engage. So, now waiting for a friend 45 minutes away for a ride to parts store to try a starter because my damn son doesn't answer his phone ever...Just what a bad shoulder needs...

Try moving the shifter while holding the key in start position, or put in neutral then try to start...might be the safety switch..

Kinda truck?
Newer chebby motor winding feed wire is braided. And its prone to loosening under the nut. I pulled one starter out, and i think i soldered the braided part, wrapped it around stud and tightened nut.

I had tried that a couple times. Took starter out and had it tested. Locked up. Changed it, amd fired right up. Pretty sore, but home now. Have a great day out there.

Dont hate me. It probably developed a coolant leak and hydraulic locked.
My sons chev did something similar last week. Gotta put a wrench on crankshaft and roll it over. Im thinking it wont.
If it sounds like its engaging, thats likely the issue.

I did worry about that. My luck typically would go that direction. But then I would put a 12v Cummins in it, so....
