Thankyou to anyone involved in the post about small block mopar rocker shaft geometry. I can't find it to list names , but I think you may have saved me a lot of oiling grief ! I never knew they were Right and Left specific until I saw it. I pulled the covers and consulted the service manual and sure enough they were on the wrong sides. EZ enough fix on the engine stand. Thanks again !!

Yep, if you're talking rocker shaft notches, left hand facing down, when grinding up against a fender
Side note, NOT all rocker shafts have the same notches/half moons etc, so be careful.

I bought the rocker assemblies used and they appeared to assembled incorrectly. In order to get the notches indexed correctly per the Factory service manual, "notches down toward center and forward on right bank and rearward on the right bank" I had to disassemble the shaft and turn the rocker arms around. Every thing appears to align correctly and adjusting the valves went well. Am I still okay?

Afraid there's no pictures , but they are adjustable rockers for a solid lift camshaft I believe from a 340. The rockers all align correctly, (no L/H,R/H) and all the oilers align. For a solid lifter valve train I may be over cautious.

I have the same setup, you will like it.
Do the notches look like rectangles? Or Crescent shaped?
