Not sure if the wally world tire warranty is the same as the battery warranty, but---

A battery warranty is good once.

if your 36 month battery fails after 12 months, the warranty replaces the battery once.

If the replacement battery fails after only 2 months, you're screwed. Next battery is full price.

I used to buy wally's batteries until that bit me.

Now I get Rural King branded Exide for $46.

I'm not a fan. Here's why. Michelin makes a great tire. Too good. The tread lasts too long. They usually separate and blow out before they wear out. I want a tire whose tread does not last that long. Michelins become unsafe after many years on the road. I am proof positive. My Ford truck had Michelin tires on it when I bought it. I knew they were old. They were checked on the sidewall. I should have replaced them when I bought it. I didn't. Mother's Day 2015 I had a severe blowout on the left front that dragged me across the oncoming lane all the way onto the opposite shoulder of the road. I was only going about 45. Had someone been coming the other way, it would have been bad.

As stupid as it sounds, I won't buy Michelin tires because the last too long. They actually outlast the longevity of the tire's construction. I've seen it a lot in the past being in the tire business before. If you run Michelin tires, keep a close watch on them.

The only passenger car tires in 205/75R14 that Tire Rack sells are 3 different styles of Hankook tires. They do not sell junk tires. Based on that alone, I'd get the Hankooks.

Another thing to ponder. If you need warranty a lot of places say "take them back to where you bought them". I ran into that with some BFG's. I bought them from Summit and BFG suggested I take it to a dealer for adjustment. Nobody wanted to take care of it. :BangHead: :mob:

Buying from a local dealer has it's advantages.

Back when I was manager of a Consumer Tire shop in Hawaii we used to say that Michelin was a French word meaning “exploding tire”.

It was the same issue you described. They put on very few miles on the Island so the long treadlife meant people kept them on their cars for so long that they eventually failed catastrophically.

I am going with a 215/60r14 on the same rim, but the only tires I can find a BFGs radial T/As which I guess are good but it is going to run over $500 for 4.

Go with Michelin and be done... Better traction, quiten ,smooth , long lasting, great rain traction and self cleaning in snow.
Costco sells them and has 70.00 off 4 every other month.
Dont be lured be high mile warranties ! It just means they are rock hard ...

            You wont look back!

Riken Raptor has a blackwall in that size. $85 at Tire Rack. I'd buy them before the BFGs, just because the BFG lettering really sucks these days (impossible to keep them white). Riken is a Japanese company. However, their website says: "The Riken tyres are produced in a European tyre factory belonging to one of the worldwide leading tyre manufacturers." I have no personal experience with them.

Rainy, I don’t know how much you travel-how far? Walmart’s are in every worthy U.S. town and their warranty would be worth it if you did travel. I have not had luck with their pricing here, and despise the company that put small businesses out of business, BUT the warranty and continental service can’t be beat if you travel. Best wishes
