car looks amazing, brings back some memories while doing my 65 dart convertable. Great job !!

Wow, nice job! I didn't notice where you were from until seeing the steering wheel on the starboard side. :D

no heater?

Did your '66 really come with a direct drive starter? They ended those here in '63 in the A-bodies. Also, is there a support or reinforcement bracket/brace for the pitman arm too? Does it attach to the unibody frame rail the same way as the steering gear? I think the first time you splash through a puddle you'll regret having painted the suspension/rear end white!

Yeah the car is all original - whatever on the car now are what came from the factory in '66.

About the white undercarriage.. yes I've been warned :)

We have two hot rod folks that went light gray on there roadsters and they look great and everyone likes how nostalgic they look , I like the light gray finnish and digging you build :love10:
Keep up the great work 1966DartConvertible :thumleft:

You don,t need those nice tail-lights do ya?HaHa.They sure must,ve been in great shape to turn out so nice8).I,m having a hard time finding nice ones around here.

It is sure going to be a beautiful 66 dodge. Especially that chrome. I wish that rechroming services were not as expensive in the US. Beautiful Car.

Thanks.

That lot you see in the picture cost me about US450 (1600 our money). How much would that cost to re-chrome the lot there in the US? Im just curious.

Syed

I have no idea for the whole lot but I was thinking about what was quoated for repair and re-chrome somewhere else on this site for a set of 66 tail lites was $700.00 for the repair and $300.00 for the re-chrome if I remember correctly.

And the sun shines all year long, even in February its 90F here...

Hey, you're doing a great job on your convertible. Keep it up!

Do they add copper before chrome on all your mouldings and stuff?

I would be cool if they did but since it's not really a muscle car and you're in Malaysia, I seriously doubt it. It's interesting that your car uses a '65 Plymouth instrument cluster and that the ignition switch isn't mounted in it. Must have been part of the RH drive deal. Keep up the good work!

Are you rubbing in about the beauty tailights?:read2:LOLYes they look great along with the rest of your car.Keep up the great work.:toothy10:

Not much to update - just some wiring work done.

Not factory I know, but I think it will look cleaner this way (relays etc. hidden inside the glovebox)
