RV's and overnight camping allowed?
With this short notice and Covid situation, unfortunately not. But if anything changes I will be sure to get word out.
Hell ya way closer to my house!, so for the 1/8 of a mile how much is it to race, and set up times check in and all that!
Okay I'll stay watching for updates.
Online registration will be setup in a week. We need to finalize some stuff. We believe it’s reasonable and in line with the tracks other events and what we’ve done in past. We will open at 7am More detail on drags and other stuff to follow
Hell ya! Finally some excitement in my life.
Much much closer for me. I may end up going. The Dart will not make it.
Following the sheep with a mask. No thanks.
Last t-n-t at irwindale was $100 per car, and $20 per crew member ( no "spectators"). I dont care , it's 15 minutes from my house, ill be there!
I just thought of this, but you can grow Fall & Spring Fling at Irwindale. Instead of it just being a car show and swap you can add 1/8 mile drags, a burnout box, and possibly an autocross. It may be a way to draw more attention to the show and mopars in general.
Just chill at the Walmart with everyone else!
We’ll be below those numbers. All our Participants are shopping Swap and Cars for sale in the display area And Participants will be crewing drag cars. We are an outdoor swap meet. Outdoor Swap Meets and Flea Markets in LA County (all California?) have been open for months Long Beach, Santa Fe Springs, LA City College, San Fernando, Alameda Swap and Flea Markets are open.
Is Irwindale in LA county or Orange county?
Never mind, I found it. LA county. To far north for Orange. So why the move?
They can't get a permit for Woodley park.
We’ll evaluate and assess as we do after every event. We have always looked and collected options for past 20 years. Just good precaution. Unnecessary to publicly share those. We listen though. Let’s put it this way... I made a scaled site-plan feasibility study on this place over a year ago. Every parking spot counted for.
And there is nothing wrong with that. If you choose to sit this one out, we/I totally respect that. It will be annoying with a mask. We think there’s enough people ok with the mask wearing to enjoy themselves and do some shopping..Just like they would at the grocery store.
This is awesome news, I will be there.
How much shorter time wise will it be for you coming home in afternoon ?
I just mapped it, and with or without the Covid light traffic factor, it cuts my travel time by 50%.
1 hour or 1 1/2 hours shorter?
Cuts my travel by about 45-60 min. So 12 hours 15 min. versa 13 hours 5 mins.
