Dang it. Let us know what you find out.
so, like i said, i got to drive it on monday we had a little birthday parade for our assistant pastor and since he's got some young kids you know i had to let some smoke out of the tires (like i needed an excuse for that) on the way back home, i had my boy and one of his buddies in that, so i was making sure i wasnt getting the best mileage, shall we say from the back seat, his buddy goes, "how fast is this car?" i said, im not sure, i dont think ive had it over 90 and my boy goes "NA-HU" we've done at least 110 darn kids, always ratting me out
Isn't that just like us humans always thinking the worst i do it ALL the time lol hopefully its just a loose clamp. Let us know. Gary

Painting more Black Stuff. (engine run main frame) Dries fast on a hot, hot day . . .
Got my 73' brakes done on my 72 duster and firm feel 1.12 torsion bars installed.
My son bought me heat wrap and plug wire boots for Father's Day. I installed them today. I put a slit in the heat wrap for the fuel line bracket and wrapped it all the to just past #6 header tube. Since I don't need passenger side boots, I used one on the fuel hose to the carburetor. Not sure I like it... Oh, and I put up a saucer swing for my wife...er, I mean... grandson!!!
You must buy black paint in bulk, lol. Just kidding, I enjoy watching your progress.
Lol . . For this framework stuff I use John Deere Equipment Enamel, Self Priming a special formula for farm machinery. I get a special hardener online for it. Makes it tuff and fast drying, not gummy and slow drying like some enamels. This is JD blitz black, leaves a nice satin finish for iron work. Thanks
Sounds like it is durable and will hold up well.
And a few more parts black before I call it quits for the night. Run stand Radiator Support Bell housing mount plate.
finally finished up the gauges
Got my TTI exhaust today. Got passenger side installed tonite too.
