What Are You Doing To/With Your Car Today?

Decorated the Barracuda and drove in the Beaver Falls Christmas parade. Took a 7 lb bag of penny candy for the little ones and opened the exhaust for the crowd. Got lot's of thumbs up and loud cheers when I revved the engine up. It was a good time and a great way to kick off the Christmas season.

Message to Demonx2. Yes, that Baby is getting polished up & clear coated. You expected anything less from me? Lol

Hopefully on the kitchen table! Looking good - just wish we could've hooked up this past summer. Plan for it for next year!
No. If you look close? It's in my 2nd favorite place. On the Basement Floor. Kitchen table is only for Motors. Basement is drive line. Duh! :poke:

I finally got the proportioning valve installed. The only problem with buying pre-bent lines is that it eliminates the choice of locating the proportioning valve. You have to locate it where they put the break in the front-to-rear line or start fabbing new pieces, which would defeat the purpose of buying pre-bent in the first place.

man, I dunno I really want to finish my body work but its getting cold. What are the lowest temps for filler and primer? Personally i like 65-70 degrees I do have my legendary seat upholstery project to knock out also, I can do that in my basement where its warm(er) LOL!

Got my reverse light switch harness from OER and installed it. Backup lights now working along with indicator inside car. Put some Marvel Mystery oil in the crankcase along with Sta Bil in the tank and put the car up on jack stands until spring. Good day and also a sad day. I did this the other day and I had an off day from work recently and it got into the 50's here. Was very tempted to take the car out for one last drive but I refrained.

Demonx2 would be so proud of me. First photo is new Drive Shaft. Is that going on my Car? Nope. 150 240 320 grit later it's getting better. I'll go 600 then clear coat it 3 time and buff that baby to a Dude you gotta stop finish.

I'm dragging my car two hours south today where it will spend the winter in my buddy's shop. I've got a small list of things that need to be done and I never seem to be able to find the time in the summer to do them.

Today I pulled out the new suspension I just installed and mounted it to the cart.

I had posted a few days ago a thread asking how on Earth it mounted to the cart.....figured it out!

Tomorrow I'm going to install my Coan torque converter in my 727, mate the transmission to the engine and hopefully mount them on the suspension on the cart...

Getting closer to the final steps on the transmission work.

Installed the prop shaft....oil tube and reattached the kickdown linkage.

Pulled all the old cables and removed the pushbutton mechanism to check the adjustment.

Tomorrow I'll get all the new cables run and the mechanism back in the dash
