Noticed you have the old Holley street dominator, big block edition. I’ve got the small block LA street dominator on my 318 and really like the way it runs. I installed a 1/2” four hole spacer over a 1 inch open spacer on the manifold I’m running with an Edelbrock 600 carb. No difference in throttle response from the Edelbrock performer manifold I took off and more period correct for my Duster. It's early Ford blue. That's for the 400 Ford, which, believe it or don't is a small block. It's a Cleveland, but it's a tall deck Cleveland. The 221, 260, 289, 302, 351W, 351C, 351M and 400 all have the same bore spacing, so that makes them all in the small block family. While the 221-351W are all Windsors, the 351C, 351M and 400 are all the "335" series, but still small blocks. The 335 series are just all "big" small blocks, because of their canted valve heads.Noticed you have the old Holley street dominator, big block edition. Yup. That's the FE series. All the way down to 332 cubic inches. A big block. lolYea I guess they just look bigger
So my 68 360 is the bb
390 427 ect.
Got that right! It's sooooo much hand sanding in all the nooks and crannies that play havoc on the fingers..lolGreat idea spraying one apron! Gives strong motivation to keep going. Little steps along the way help get you to the finish line.
Yep, I had a couple myself last fall, intake ripple to cross over and trans line, still very exciting I betCouple days late..
First crank
Timing and carb adjusted. Couple of smaller leaks to attend to.

The correct fan for my '68 Dart 340 is an 18" 7-blade fan. I just bought one on eBay.View attachment 1716385711
Trying out a big block (7 blade) fan. Learned that the small block fans only have 5 blades.
