What happened to the red X option

-
I think it is great when a forum member throws a Red X and tells me what he or she has against what I am doing or saying.

Are you really getting rid of this?

Why?

WHY? Why? WHy?

Maybe Joey can tell us why he thinks we can not handle the red X any longer?

You ain`t going nowhere, you have too much fun in the other forum:p
I spook this place and learn lots,
I can not imagine my Hobbie without this sight,

That being said, please don't RUIN this!!!!

Just tell me where you fuckers are gonna go?

I've been shaken by the red X a coupla times.
At first I was a little surprised, but on re-reading the offending post allowed me to realize the meaning was ambiguous, and needed refining.
Another time gave me a chance to reflect, and change my opinion.
A thumbs down would have achieved the same thing .

Every time I got a red X, it was like a badge of honor, I wore it proudly.

Never bothered me either

It seems the puss factor has prevailed

I'm OK with the RED X being gone. There is still the IGNORE button!
Plus, it is true that it is easy to fat finger the button. Now, at least, if someone disagrees with you, they will be forced to face you and say it out loud. I rarely hit the red X, but when I did, I always backed it up by quoting the person and explaining the disagreement.

Agreed. Most of the time I got a red X, it was because I called somebody out on something, and they didn't like it. The rest of the time, people disagreed with something I said about something mechanical or electrical. But I'm going to say that most of them were laughable. Bring it.
