78 lil red express and any open top ramcharger
really all the 78 cause i LOVE the crew cab 4x4s too

Looking at getting an old Dodge pickup truck for hauling stuff. 60-80s would be fine. I could at least work on them pretty easily.

I found this 85 Ramcharger on craigslist near me. Seems like it may be a good deal. Looks clean. http://losangeles.craigslist.org/sfv/cto/2067922502.html

What other reliable Mopar trucks would you guys recommend? Looking more for a mid to full size.

Here's a local dump truck on craig's list.......

Here's a big block 68 Swepty Power Wagon for sale in Tacoma, for $1300. I would love to grab this.

http://seattle.craigslist.org/tac/cto/2100191341.html

1968 Dodge W200 with Dana 60 rear and a closed knuckle Dana 44 front
383 2 barrel mated to a NP435 4 speed transmission, NP201 transfer case
Single cab long bed
It also comes with a Braden 10,000lbs PTO winch, which is not hooked up, you would need to get all the other items to make this functional
It comes with a truck box and a rubber bed mat as well.

This truck is over 40 years old and has lived the life of a truck, it is not in pristine condition, but could be a good project or a good driver.

The floor boards have been replaced, but are not stock, there is rust where you would find rust typically on these trucks

The motor starts every time and is very reliable, it drives smoothly and good.

it also comes with 16.5 turbine wheels and 36inch wrangler tires

Over the last few days I've been looking at craigslist and eBag. These older dodge truck are pretty scarce. Especially the 60-70s. Will keep my eyes peeled for a good deal. Great thing is that the girlfriend thinks we need a truck too. Doesn't care which kind as long as it can haul stuff. :) I need to sell the Jeep first or make it a Pismo Beach sand dune rig.

i agree. i looked for about 6 months. it seems like the sweptlines are either restored already and out of my price range, or trashed and still priced too high. you can find long beds more often, but i wanted a short bed, and i wanted a v8. i think i did alright on mine i paid 2500, it has a poly 318 and 4 speed. it has its issues, but its a truck. hopefully i will have it at spring fling, i plan to pull the wagon there with it. good luck on you search.

I think you should buy a all-original running and driving 1949 Dodge deluxe cab pu. Specifically the one I have sitting in my yard.

I may be a little biased,though.

Saw one parked outside a small local car show 2 years ago, snapped some pictures quickly but the owner didn't stay long so I didn't get to talk to him.

Hey, if any of you guys want a town wagon, I know where one is actually sitting neglected. BTW, thanks to this thread, I noticed the 8 3/4 on top!
