57 Plymouth Fury, Dad took the dual 4s off of it before turning it over to me. I found the guy he sold them to and got them back. :D
I smoked that air cooled torqeflite a couple times, pretty easily. Power braking it would fry it almost immediately.

my first car(still have it) is a 67 Plymouth valiant sign. bought it for 800 bucks.

My first car was a 67 camaro, 327 .60 over destroked with a 283 crank,525 lift solid crane cam, ported double hump heads 2.02 valves victor jr. intake 750 dp holley, turbo 400 trans w/shift kit and 12 bolt posi w/488 gears. It was a nice ride and ran 11.80's in the quarter mile with street tires. One of the only cars I wish I never got rid of.

Technicaly it was this car. but It needed work so I could not drive it. Then my dad got me a 4 door 73 dart for 200 dollars. drove it then crashed it bad. Thank god my 2 door was not my first driver.

well are we asking wat was the first car i paid for myself? or wat was the first car i drove as mine?

anywho, the first car i drove as mine was an 89 lebaron gtc convertible turbo 4cyl. chick car maybe but still a mopar. the vehicle i ever bought was a 78 dodge power wagon on 33s and camo paint

Imagine 1983.I was into brand F at the time, picked up a lime green 69 Cougar,351w,2 barrel and all.It came with the cheesy J.C.Whitney fake wire hubcaps.I gave shotgun to who was willing to chase hubcaps on Friday night racing.I spent more money on hubcaps than speed parts.Lol!

It was B5 Blue with a white top and blue interior had a 383 magnum that was tweeked and Appliance Crager look a likes shift kit it trans, accel coil 750 double pumper speed pro rings nice cam and I loved that car until my 70 Cuda came along!
The car was FAST for a 15 yr old and I remember pushing it out of the driveway late at night with my buddy.
Small beach town and 2 of my friends were sons of local law enforcement so I got the eyeball a lot and they knew my car as the beast.
It could hold 5 teen agers and a pony keg man times were different back then!
memories....I am glad I lived thru it

1970 Challenger 340 4speed, 8 3/4 323. plum crazy. Paid $400.00 bucks all it needed was a clutch so about $150.00 later I was burning up the streets. This was 1980 and the car was perfect just some slightly faded paint not bad. I'm not sure who had it best you guys who bought them new from the showrooms or us who got them on the cheep in great condition.

my first car was a 75 vega wagon,i built it when i was 16 it had a 327 from a 64 vette a m21 muncie 4 speed and a 12 bolt from speedway motors with 373 posi.it went 13.00 at 101 at fremont raceway. wish i had pics to show you guys.my friends dads forbid them to ride in it,lol.funny thing is i was the only one who never got in a wreck!

I was 14 when my step mom gave me a 62 4 door push button Valiant, white with red interior. That car set me up to love mopars kind of like your first sex exspenance

I started out with a 1965 Dodge Dart GT 273 auto white w/wreeble painted roof and red interior. NIce car and I wish that I kept it.

1973 Mercury Capri. V6, progressive 2bbl, 4 speed. All original, totally worn out suspension. Had German writing under the hood I seem to recall. Neat car, looked like an Opel gt a little. Mine was dark blue.

1965 chevy 2 or nova
was looking for a 69 dart
kept seeing novas
still looking for a 69 dart
still to this day never had 1 lol

My first car is a 73 Dart Sport i got for $1400. Bought it on Dec. 31 2010. The guy I bought it from turned out to be an a**hole. When we got home we checked compression 1-5 Ok #6 nothing. Then the engine seized up. When we opened it up the slant spun a bearing. But at some point the engine broke a rod. So the guy shaved it down and left the piston in the cylinder and took the metal ends off the plug wire. But the part that pissed me off the most is that the guy sold the car to me and knowing the engine was crap. Plus I was only 13 when I bought it and I gave him my all money from working to the guy.
But I love my dart and glad I bought it. :)

First car was a '68 Plymouth Satellite with a 400 and 727 reverse manual three on the tree. Got it two days before my license when I was 16. Ended up apprenticing at M&M Racing and stroked that baby to 451 complete build, swapped the rear to 8 3/4 with 742 casing and runnin' 3.91, away I went. Craziest thing a fresh 16 year old could be driving, got me into a lot of trouble. Worth it Hell Yes!

My first car is a 1954 Pontiac Chieftain 2dr. sedan that I still have. But my second car was a 1966 coronet 440 convertible that I never should have sold. And my third car was a 1969 charger that I really shouldn't have sold! Dozens of boring vehicles in between and now my 1972 Swinger is almost road worthy.

My first car was a 75 or 76 Pinto wagon.. Silver with RED interior, 6 cylinder with floor shift automatic... I remember having to have a rag or t-shirt in the car during the summer, as the all chrome shifter would get HOT as hell... lmao.. Im no Ford lover by any stretch of the imagination.. but I had a lot of fun in that car (so did my girlfriend at the time LOL) ...

My first car- 1969 Ford Mustang Coupe. got it for $1200 white with black stripes, Sucker was beautiful and i loved that car to death but had to sell it because of bills and what not which i kick myself in the ***. Then what got me into mopars was my brother got a 1972 Dodge Dart Swinger in almost mint condition for $1800, got in 1998, had it till 2006 then he suprized me by giving it to me for my birthday that year and i still drive it 2day as a daily driver! Had other classic cars from 2006: Blue with white top 1960 Rambler Super(had to sell it), Yellow w/Black stripe 1969 mustang (Looked good on the outside but found out it was a rust bucket) so i sold it! and a White 1959 Rambler 4dr Sedan which was a nice kick *** car which i regretibally let it go!(traded it for a Red 1970 VW Squareback because of frekn bills and nobody didnt want to buy the Rambler).

I remember my first car I bought and paid for with my own cash was a "65 Barracuda. 273 w/ console automatic. Was red with a white rally stripe down the drivers side from grill to trunk. Had a lotta fun with that car. Was great at the drive-ins. Lotsa room for,,,well,,,let's just say it had a lotta room in the back!! had 7 of them since then. That was in 1977!! After 137 cars since, I still have MOPAR running thru my veins!!
