Why don't you have him man up and forward his gift to oc dart. If he can't give why should he recieve?

I PM'd him and ask him to exactly that already, waiting on a response. I am also going to PM his secret santa to see if his has been shipped it out yet.
 
So ....did said person receive a gift? don't quite seem fair that they could participate long enough to receive a gift and then announce that they can't give a gift.

not that its all about the presents....just saying the hole point of this was to get people together and give a little and get a little and have fun with it.

hope all works out and that someone decides to hop on board and help out.

I would but I am already over budget as it is LOL

He/she will be named, but not at this time. I want to get facts straight first. I PM'd him to make sure, and I PM'd the person that bought him a gift to see if it was mailed yet... hopefully he didn't mail it yet. If he does the right thing, then he will remain annonymous.

If all else fails, being the secret santa is my baby, I will buy a gift myself and mail it to ocdart just to make things right.

Just for the record, I never intended to make a big deal out of this. I only PM'd the info to jrlegacy23 since he originated the Secret Santa and I wanted him to know that I wouldn't be posting any pics of what I received and why. I don't have any intention of flaming anybody on this forum over this.
I fully understand being tapped out, especially during the Holidays. It could happen to any of us.
This hasn't soured me on the FABO Secret Santa - in fact I'm looking forward to it next year!

I borrowed the dvd and watched it with the commentary the other day. Randy Quaid was asked how much he and Chevy rehersed there parts together, he said hardly any at all, they just went with it. If you watch the scenes they are in it shows....just brilliant!
 
Got my sercret Santa gift and must say I am very unhappy. It sucks that it is so good I ate half the day I got it and I dont think it will make it till Christmas.lol Great smoking job Bill aka Smallblock. Is that a hickory flavor on there?. Thanks Bud.

Little ashamed of this post. It is Christmas time and we should help out our brothers in need. Sorry I came off so shrewd. Will say a little prayer for the unknown member that things get better for them. Merry Christmas yawl

It happens. At first I was a little upset also about the situation but then after I thought about it, I PM'd the person and offered to buy a gift and send it mysef on his behalf. He declined and decided to send the gift he received. 38 Dodge (GOOD GUY ALERT!!!) had also PM'd me offering to buy a gift for ocdart too.
