As I get older I find myself looking more and more for toys I had as a kid. I have good memories if the following toys:

CCM Mustang 5 speed bike
Johnny Seven Gun

These were my all time favorite things I had and would LOVE to have them again. Am I insane or others feel the same way as I do?

I had a little "clunk clunk" tug boat when I was a kid. It was battery powered. Never been able to find another one.

Same here. I'm building my Dart like I would have done back in the day if I could have afforded it. I went and looked at a 79 Little Red Express truck like I drove in the eighties. Last year, I built this 84 Yamaha RZ350. It was my dream bike when it came out.

You're insane. LOL Naw, I've done a little research and a couple of my favorite toys from my youth are:

That's bad-***.......I remember I could've bought one brand-new, on sale (a Kenny Roberts yellow one like yours) for $2200. Same thing.....wasn't quite ready for a payment back then. I like the rims with the yellow stripe and the chambers. Bet it sounds sweet!

I bought back my Erector set, a Getaway Chase Game, and a bunch of HO gauge race track. I still have a few assembled model cars and some farm toys from 50 years ago. tmm

I have ALL my old toys.

But they were played with. Some are very much worn and some messed up pretty bad.

Just dug up the box my Diamond Back Silver Streak was delived in a few weeks ago. Of course I still have the bike with it's original tires and it's in great condition with only a scratch in one of the stickers near the chain.

Too bad the box got all beat up.

Autox,I hate you...(lol). My Silver Streak,got 10 fingered. Really cool,you still own it,seriously.

I was given this Cox .049 dune buggy already used from a friend of my dads that robbed the .049 motor out of it. It had some stuff busted when I got it. Now it's pretty hammered.

I always thought this was a great looking well designed futuristic dune buggy.

I wish I still had my toys. My dad was in the military and we moved a lot so when it came time to move most things were left behind.

I still have all my old Dinky and Corgi toys. I rotate them through my displays in my car room/home office/library/man cave. Also got a crapload of 1/18 scale Mopars. Since I got my Duster though (3 weeks) I don't think I'll be collecting many more.

I got my first real BMX bike stolen in the 1st grade. I was a Gitane BMX all steel frame. Lower end model kids BMX..

Just got to walk out in the yard to find one of my favorite childhood toys......just add imagination.......all we could afford

Yes I want my A12 Road Runner,68 383 GTS,and my Evel Knevel lunch box back.LOL

I have my steel Evel Knievel Lunch Box. Pretty beat up. I have a plastic CHiPs lunch box too.

Have a couple Evel Knievel Motorcycles, action figure, and wind up mechanism that launched the bikes. Problem was they put hard plastic forks on those bikes and they always broke.

My younger brother had a new version bike (not Evel Knivel) that had a rubber-like fork that would not break.

Same Same,

I would surely love to have the Heathkit TA-17, I built in '68...

No it did not work when I finished the build, ... POPS had a friend
in the (then) burgeoning electronics industry... POPS took the 'mess' (lol)
to him , $75 !!! FOR REPAIR.

Pops got Marching Orders--- the 'kit' stayed behind --- payment for services rendered

Heath kits, had some cool stuff. My first car,had a Heath kit version,of an MSD(1983). Interesting, to say the least.

I would love to have all of the models I had built , my hot wheels , HO train set , and my license plate collection . All " got lost " when I went into the service . Hmmm .... there is evil afoot , methinks .

Heck,one of my buddies ,had a G-Boy.And weighed 220,at age 12. That frame,got rewelded a LOT!

My mom has my Evel Knevel set with the van and ramp. Can't seem to find the figure, though...

I had a Star Wars figure set that came out before the regular production run of 1977.
The engineering for "Luke" was not quite finished and the head, one foot, and the light saber were different. The set was a mail in offer from General Mills. Up until about 2 years ago, that set wasn't even in the collector catalogs. I remember a few years ago, they listed the "first" production run set (that contained the revised or "finished" Luke) at $400.

I wish I had some of my "anual" MPC models. Lots of those are lost to tooling revisions.

I still have a first run Mego Spock.

I also have some Tide 1972 Ford spring powered cars.
They look 48th scale and have GREAT detail for cheap plastic.

I almost bought a Speak and Spell, even though I was way too old, as soon as I heard the were reprogramming them to not say swear words.

I bought a used Team Mongoose frame and fork, stripped to the nickel, and ported all my huffy stuff onto it, then slowly upgraded eveything. I HAD to have full cro-mo. I broke mild steel and bent aluminum at age 13

I still have some of my old cap guns and holsters from 50 years ago. Still have my toy box too, I'm surprised it isn't broken by now. I still have models that I built when I was 8-10 years old.

My Dad sold "my" favorite toy. After WWII, there were endless (lies) ads for surplus gear, "hydraulic pumps," "motors." They didn't tell you in "very big print" that these were 400 HZ AC or 28V DC. Anyhow, my Gramps bought a top mount training gun turret, which my cousins and I used to "shoot down" thousands of enemy planes.

Since I don't know who bought it or where it ended up, this could be that very turret. It is the same model. Ours was in a shed for many many years, and even when Dad sold it, the bubble was in good condition--had not been out in the sun for too long
