Hi. Look back in this 9 second section. It's there.#187...Page #8
Nice times you should get in the 8's with your new combo. Sweet ride, and my favorite track. "The Point". Lived in Santa Rosa 20 years. Raced that track a bunch.

What is your compression and cam duration?
Indy intake?

Thanks for the welcome!

Compression is just over 13:1. Cam is 302 overall, and I believe 265. @.050. It's an off the shelf Comp unit. And it has the Indy intake, stock runners, etc... Hoping to switch to alcohol later this year. Gathering parts for a fancier 904 too. I may have a video or pic that I'll try to post later.

Nice ride
Loved my 904. Ran a Grinner brake with 5500 TCI converter. Loved the 2-3 shift. Lots of people bad mouth them, never broke one. My old Duster was a bracket car with lots of runs. Ran mid 10's.
You'll love alky, cheap as chips to run. I have a plate under my carb that inject's gas in to start and warm with separate fuel pump and mini dragster tank. Works awesome. You can drive to the start line on it. Saves alky. PM me if interested on how to set it up.

Thanks I may take you up on that offer. I know I want to run gas for warm up and shut down. The 904 has a tranzact brake, and we just had it updated to low band apply cuz it was an early unit. Running an 8" ATI. It was set up for the 4.86's but the car only slows down .05 with 4:30's. The car actually belongs to a customer, I built the engine and did some other updates on several years ago. He doesn't want to drive it after he saw it run hard!
