V knows his stuff and has proven it numerous times. Now the challenge may seem pointless but does bring out experimentation. Now the cork in the bottle is definately the chosen carburetor. But then look at the power NASCAR restrictor plate engines produce. A lot of expensive parts and R&D goes into those engines.
These guys are pretty much donating their time and some parts. Intent is to sell the engine and those needing their output for parts will get that. Any surplus will go to St. Judes Hospital.
So maybe stop the sniping, eh. And have a Merry Christmas all.
 
Anyone who is ripping on the project should probably just watch the series because they detailed exactly why they are doing this project.

This forum, like lots of others, is to exchange ideas, present info & experiences. Not all will be in agreement with what others present....

Really, I thought it existed to make money for it's owner, and traffic equals money, regardless of the content. :)
And why would people want to "exchange ideas, present info and experiences" if others are just going to hang **** on them for no reason but to boost their own egos? Especially when they can go to other forums where that sort of behavior has limits.?
I guess the idea would be to post something, then just choose to ignore all comments after the original post, considering 95% of what's posted is crap.
That sounds like a winning strategy.

One thing these UTG videos has done, is made it very clear who is capable of rational thinking and who is either incapable of that or just has an irrational ego. I don't have to call out names to make this distinction, it's plainly obvious.

Why don't you replicate this? Or better yet, send him your 302s, and spend less than a decent set of aftermarket heads? Good luck.

Even Charlie said he‘s had those junky heads on the bench so many times he doesn’t want to admit it.

If pointing out facts is hate you need to invest in a dictionary and pay someone to read it to you.

That right there is well over 300 HP and I double damn guarantee that that engine is easier and cheaper to build than what MI 318 is.

Evidently he couldn’t do so he drug other people into it. Evidently they don’t think they could do it because they changed the rules.

I‘ll say it again. If Servedio was getting paid you’d easily be at 1500 USD for his work and the head is still inferior to a 340/360 casting.

Not hardly, the bickering back and forth adds nothing to the conversation. We want info not two kids running their lips on the playground. And not only on this post but quite a few other post that went off the rails. Here we have 14 pages and 10 are theirs bitching at each other. But Like I said both have good points and ‘ignore’ would not give that perspective.
 
I think the main rationale behind using the 302 heads is to bump compression up compared to a 360 head. They ought to have started with a magnum head.

I think I have maybe four guys on ignore BUT I still read most of what they post. I only put them on ignore so that I remember to not go out of my way to offer help if and when needed.

Ultimate trashy garbage was done when the "frame connectors are bad" sales pitch hit the tube. Laughable stuff. Getting views with a bubble gum and bailing wire approach to cars is a really nice way to make a living. Low input cost, low quality output. Take junk, sell a concept, move the goalpost, miss the goal post, rinse/repeat. Please get me views and buy my merchandise...
