Take a test light and poke around in there until you find something. I believe the lighter feed should be hot all the time.

My '70 Dart has a key-in buzzer but I unplugged it because it was annoying as hell. The buzzer is still behind the dash near the glove box.

Hey all, I pulled the column from this '68 Valiant I bought for parts and noticed it had an extra electrical harness snagging it up. I thought maybe it was a '68 only thing, but the floor shift column I pulled from my '68 Cuda doesn't have it. So what is it?

From my experience that usually means the starter relay is bad.

Check your connections through the bulkhead connector, they're pretty bad. Check your connection right at the voltage regulator, often the plug doesn't make a good connection. Also make sure your voltage regulator is grounded. Run a ground wire back to the engine or battery negative, don't...

Replace that plastic oil pressure line with a copper one when you get a chance. They get hot and can melt, and easily pull out of the fitting. I had it happen, 70 psi on a cold start, lots of oil under the hood, pooling in the valley on the high rise intake.

I had a fuse box like that once, where it was a mess. I just ran a wire through the firewall down to the wires feeding the headlights, and spliced into those.

Very easy. Pull the steering wheel, take out a few screws, change out the plastic cam. While you're in there, take out the broken pieces which are most likely floating around the column somewhere.

Try wiggling the antenna cord that plugs into the radio. Mine did this, it was a loose connection. The male end was getting old and worn out.

That's what I was just going to suggest. I started the Valiant this morning, let it run for a bit, put it in reverse and it died. Wouldn't start for the life of me.
