    FiTech EFI system

This sounds promising. I look forward to hearing how it works out. And yes, you can use brass fittings in an aluminum case. Just be mindful of the threads to prevent galling.

I would say go with a relay. I always have and believe it takes the load off the pcm and provides a cleaner, constant power to the fuel pump and helps it live longer. Just sayin...

    Venting for Fuel Injection Swap

So with reference to gas caps (pressure vacuum, technically negative pressure), looking in parts catalogs, they are listed as "vented" or "non vented". Which do you go with?

Tanks Inc-who's using it for non fuel injection and a few other questions

If you're running a carb, I'm not so sure you would need a "primer" mode. You should have fuel in the carb or it will fill when you turn the vehicle on. You can wire in a relay to the ignition circuit. I wouldn't wire into the accessory side of the ignition switch.

    Return style pressure regulator.

Actually it came down to fitting size and packaging. It doesn't hurt that Summit is selling it for less than the 13301 listed above right now. The FI engine going in now is a stock 5.2 Magnum. But stock never amuses long and it will give me a solid fuel system for injecting my stroker 340.

Which regulator did you use and what are you using for a filter?

    Return style pressure regulator.

Yep, that's pretty much my standard go to. I've used that on a bunch of LS conversions and several carb'd cars, too. You'll be happy with that for a long time.

    Return style pressure regulator.

I'm collecting parts for the fuel system for my Magnum EFI project. I will build a return style system with the regulator at the firewall. I've used Aeromotive products in the past, but was wondering what else you folks would recommend. What I liked about the ones I've used is that if I wanted...

    FiTech EFI system

On the Chevy one, if the alt was moved up to the 12 o'clock position, you could really move the driver's blower idler in. Not to mention it would give the belt more wrap around the water pump. I see a big problem with that long stretch of belt between the two blowers slapping around, also...

    Braided fuel hose

Be aware that the actual fittings are different between 200 series stainless braided nitrile hose (it's a synthetic rubber) and PTFE hose (a teflon). 200 series hose will stand up to methanol and nitromethane, so you should be somewhat safe with the swill at your local pump. PTFE is a way...

    Sequential Multiport EFI

Just so you know, sequential fuel injection goes batch fire in upper RPM or WOT. Take the time to learn the basics of EFI. (It doesn't matter who's system it is, the basics are absolutely the same). Most aftermarket systems are based on GM components, so study up on them and learn what they do...

    holley street dominator plz help

Is this gonna be mostly a "street car"? Loud exhaust is fun, but once you get that permanent ringing in your ears, not so much.

    holley street dominator plz help

If you are worried about hood clearance, with that cam I would go with the Performer RPM. If you have the room, go with the Air-Gap. Measure, measure, measure.

    fast or atomic efi ?

That's a pretty broad stroke of the pen and not entirely true. A lot of MP systems are still batch fire which adds in extra complication with little return in average performance.

    Fuel System Help

This isn't entirely true. There are several return style regulators that can be used deadheading the carb. (Aeromotive 13301 comes to mind). I've done it numerous times. My preference is to put the regulator on the return side, but it isn't always a practical option.

    Sealer fuel lines

I'm on board with teflon tape. Try to keep it down to two wraps. Also worth noting on tube fittings, whether it be SAE, JIC or whatever, use a lil anti-seize on the threads and the backside of the tube flare.

I get what you're saying, but I am a bit lost as to whom or which comments you are referencing. I know I mentioned something about building fuel pressure earlier, but I never said "fifteen seconds" that I am aware of. I think someone said something earlier about preheating their O2 before...
