Dealings with TG Motorsports, Miami Florida...?

Anyone had any dealings with "Toni" or "dragsterboy135" on ebay, from his shop "TG Motorsports LLC" from Miami, Florida? I ordered a set of new solid lifters from him through eBay few months ago, but I was sent a box with used oily hydraulic lifters. No reply at all, through eBay or direct...

    Chassis-dyno time

Had my Dart on the chassis-dyno again recently to find out what the engine-swap from 318 to 360ci netted me. In short, it was 234 RWhp @ 4700rpm and about 295 ft/lbs @ 3550rpm. About 64hp more than the previous 318 engine. The 360ci engine also runs on LPG Propane fuel and has an A518 and an...

SmallBlock engine swap on a Mopar A-body with headers.... Never Again!

Been doing an engine swap in my Dart, for the last fkn 4 days! 318 to 360. With Doug's headers. Everything is fighting for the same location and blocking something else. Almost none of the lower engine bolts can be reached with a normal socket wrench. Stupid angled oil filter base large bolt is...

    11.3cr 360ci on engine-stand

Here are some pics and info about the 360ci engine I recently put together and put on my test-stand for camshaft break-in and checking for leaks or other issues. The engine will a replacement for the stockish 318ci in my daily driven propane-powered '73 Dodge Dart. The 318 has a wimpy 8.6:1...

SB intake mod: Fully seperate water passage from intake runners...

Anyone ever seperated the water coolant passage from the rest of the intake manifold to run a cooler mixture? Something like the Air Gap intake, but then fully seperate. I don't like the 'coolant' heating up the front cylinder intake passages, or the aluminium it's part of. Something like...

Replaced failed strutrod poly-bushing today - Took video of working suspension

Just some driving around near my garage. Mostly flat roads with a few speedbumps halfway the clip. At 17:22 (videotime) I do some firm braketests. See strutrod in action at the right of the screen where the bushing gets compressed. I didn't think it would be compressed that much but was wrong...

mid 80's 318 mpg economy numbers...

Anyone know first hand (or 2nd hand from literature) what the average mpg was of mid '80s (pre-roller) 318 engines? I think the compression ratio was still down the drain in that era. Want to compare the lousy mpg of the '80s 318 I have in my '73 Dart.

Topics I've posted with new, unread posts.

I would like to see a short link somewhere (similar to New Posts), where I can see a list of all the topics I've posted in, but that have new/unread replies (to me). On phpBB-forums, there's a 'Your posts'-link that shows all topics one posted in. Topics with new/unread replies are shown in...

Anyone else using MegaSquirt on a LA motor?

Wondering how many more folks here are using a MegaSquirt ECU on their LA smallblocks? Last week, I finally was able to install my MegaSquirt MS3x in my '73 Dart and have been finding improvements along the entire rpm-range after just the first testrun around the block.

New exhaust system: Dougs Headers / Xpipe / Borla ProXS / Flowmaster tailpipes

Finished the welding and installation of a new exhaust system on my 318 '73 Dart last week. The system consists of a pair of coated Dougs Headers, Summit X-pipe kit, a pair of Borla Pro-XS mufflers and a pair of Flowmaster tailpipes. All mandrell bent and 2.5" in diameter. The old exhaust was...

Anyone running modern style wiperblades or wipers that still work on the highway in the rain? If you're running modern blades, what adapter did you use?

    Hemi oilpan mods

Anyone else cheap enough to modify the original Hemi (truck) oilpan to fit between the stock K-member and steeringlinkage? I got the idea I could mate the bottom part of a bigblock oilpan with the pan rails of the Hemi pan, and make the sump end up in the correct location to clear the K-member...

    Oilfilter-mount, holes in thin casting..

The other day while I started prepping my 5.7 for buildup, I noticed something interesting. Looking at/into the oilfilter mount, I noticed 2 little holes in the casting, besides the inlet-port leading into the oilfilter. The holes were formed because the casting was thin enough there to break...

Anyone using 16" Split-spoke Mustang wheels on their car?

I'm looking for a cheap set of alum. wheels for my '73 Dart and I've found a set of 16" splitspoke Mustang wheels for sale locally. I've found they have a 5.27" backspacing and are 7" wide. Anyone know how these wheels would fit in relation to the balljoint? Spacers needed to get the tire away...

    Rain/roadwater splashing against crank-pulley. Slipping P/S & Alternator belts...

Anyone have this happened before? Sometimes when I drive through (shallow) puddles of water, I completely lose the powersteering in my '73 Dart, which can be quite a scare when coming up to a corner. Occasionally the alternator-charging also cuts out for a while. I'm thinking the car needs some...

Heater gets warmer during lefthand turns

In my '73 Dart, the heater works relatively 'fine'. But whenever I take a lefthand turn, the blown air gets noticably warmer for a while. Has anyone had this same experience and can tell me what might be going on? I'm thinking there might be a internal heater-door somewhat loose inside, getting...

    Which Power Rack&Pinion easiest/cheapest install?

In possible preparation of a 5.7 Hemi powerplant swap AND a slight bumpsteer improvement I'm trying to find out which type/year of Powersteering Rack&Pinion unit will be the easiest to install on my '73 Dart. I'm fairly new to these type of steeringlinkages so I'm also looking for info which...

How many light bulbs in a '73 Dart dash-cluster?

Since I had only 1 bulb trying it's best to illuminate the lefthand corner of the speedometer I decided go ahead and try my luck at replacing all the bulbs with led lights with the cluster still in place. While fumbling around on the back of the cluster I managed to locate 3 bulb-holders. Got 2...

    Pics of lowered '73 Darts...

... with stock suspensions? I like my cars riding a bit lower to the ground then stock, but on my '73 Dart the LCA-bumpstops already touch the frame and the front is nowhere near 'low' yet. (The top of the front tire is still visible in the wheel opening.) Looking at the suspension setup I'm...

    '73 Dodge Dart w/ '71 frontclip

Howdy, I've bought myself a Dodge Dart recently, which I'll be using as my dailydriver pretty soon. The Dart is a '73 model but the PO managed to swap a '71 (?) frontclip on the car. He also installed 4.5" discbrakes, rebuilt the front suspension and powdercoated the K-member. The car has been...
