Can someone post a photo of the lower end of a floor-shift torque shaft assembly where the lower rod attaches with a rubber grommet?

Just remeasured with a clip installed on one of the yoke ears and found the diameter to be closer to 1-1/8". Looks like it is a 7290 after all. :oops:

Darcy, Aaron and I dropped one into his '74 Duster from my folks' 80s Dodge Maxivan. We even used the slant six transmission cross-brace. We moved the automatic floor shift/console over from a '73 Duster and everything bolted right up to the transmission. Jerry

Or... install it as is and don't worry about the 1/2" difference in the perch locations - let the leaf springs hang at a slight angle. Many have been done this way over the years without issue. Make up for the extra length with wheel backspacing.
