My 340 Score of a lifetime!

    M code barracuda

Was wondering what became of this car. Was pushing my dad to buy it way back but was just wrong timing then. I see an old post mentions it had a '70 6bbl 727 trans in it. Any chance you know the VIN off that?

Second Generation Barracuda Year to Year Differences

    I have personally seen front & rear torque boxes on a '67 273 4 speed Formula S convertible and on a '67 383 4 speed GTS convertible.

    69 383 Dart value ??

could be a real car and someone swapped out the trunk area as a patch cause that is a common spot to rust... You need to inspect it further. You might get lucky and sand the primer away to see which vin # was added if they did a sloppy job welding it in.

    Match Race ~ 1965 Valiant '273 Commando' vs. 1973 'Duster 340'

if it means anything, our 99% (smog pump deleted) stock '72 Stage 1 auto 3.42 geared Buick ran its best of 14.29 @96mph on modern radials last year. I doubt a stock '73 340 would be running faster then that.

    I guess I didn't repond fast enough?

lol thats nothing, I missed out on this steel of a car that was only located 40 minutes from all cause he didn't put a price/location in his ad originally. I was literally the 2nd person to view it, peaked my interested and asked for the missing info. Of course someone else saw the info he post...

5.2 vs 5.9 ram pros and cons ??

depends if you want a manual trans or auto. I'd personally get the 5.2 truck and swap a 5.9 in it. Best of both worlds

Part 2 - Rummaging in Colorado

Grab it if you can, that AM/FM radio alone is a very rare option. That would be a really nice car restored. I'd hit him at 3.5-4k & see where he's at if it has the #s matching drivetrain.

1967 383 ~ "Which Came First" ~ The Barracuda or Dart GTS

The owner has all the original parts for it, engine, trans, fender tag, maybe even the build sheet too. I haven't seen those parts in person besides the engine. I believe it was his first car/mopar and was running years ago but it rusted to the point that they parked it & pulled the parts from...
